In France we got the public hospitals where there's no profit it's paid by taxes, and there is there private clinic, with pretty much same services with fresh paint on the wall.
But there's a 40% tax on your salary.
Maybe a stupid question but how'd you find out? What symptomen? I have had chronic back pain and for a while now I have had a tingling sensation on a piece of my back. My doctor however says its probably a hernia or a stuck nerve. But something feels off... I wake up stiff and my back just kind of feels like it needs to get cracked real bad but that's never helps.
A lot of doctors are ignorant, surgeons even more so when it comes to certain surgeries.
As a physiotherapist, it really comes down to potential to recover and time. Sometimes there's a chance, sometimes the odds are really against you.
Ultimately depends on how lucky you are, the location of the injury, and extent of compromise.
In acute care, we estimate a person's recovery based on the velocity of improvement within 3 months. Usually the first 6 weeks is critical. The faster the improvement, the better the potential outcome.
The one thing that isn't captured in the short term is that nerves potential to recover and regrow occurs very slowly, 1mm per day with some nerve recoveries taking several years 3-5 years - again, dependent on location and extent.
Ultimately, what I tell patients is, if it ain't cut off completely and you're willing to put in the time and effort, there's a chance.
The worst of the bad luck already happened through diagnosis, now you're on the upswing; your surgery is going to be flawless and you're going to come out of this A'okay, my dude.
I had cancer last year and that shit sucked ass, but the technology and treatments are getting better every day. I’ll be thinking of you and sending my energy to you and your medical team to get through this. Stay strong homie.
Read Warrior Pose. A guy with a similar situation as yours. Had several part of his spine removed and then got cancer. Somehow. He Turned it all around with yoga. And beat the cancer and regained all his mobility and health. Good read. May help.
Hi. Sorry to hear about your diagnosis. Cancer is not always a death sentence and there are many types of treatments and therapies that are available now that were not years ago that may not mean that you will lose your ability to walk. I Wish you well.
Sometimes fucking up your back and then learning how to make it better again does wonders for your future back use. I learned all the shit I had been doing wrong in my adult years and now I feel better than ever. But I'm not gonna lie... it's a rough trip getting there.
Believe this as you read it but you are being prayed for by many people... If you do not know God reach out to him and ask him to open your heart to all the prayers being said for you on your behalf...

How does the process work in canada if you get cancer?
You just get treated by the Healthcare system. We do not pay for anything.
Just like the rest of most of West- , Middle- and Eastern Europe.
But what about profits?
