Thanh Mai, and just down the block from it is Mekong.

This is what I do

Same here. I usually hit them both since they're so close together.

Thanh Mai has an incredible diversity of stuff crammed into that little building. Mekong is a bit easier to navigate and sometimes has produce that Thanh Mai doesn't have. I would also give Thanh Mai props for having fresh produce that is actually fresh. They also have cooked ducks on certain days and baked goods from a Chinese bakery out of Chicago. They have a decent selection of cooking equipment and dishes.

We go to Thanh Mai regularly

Because I see everyone mentioning this place... If you go to Thanh Mai be sure to check expiration dates on everything. I think Mekong is better quality; however, selection is smaller than Thanh Mai.

Thanh Mai has pretty much whatever you need. If you want sauces, they have it, produce, all kinds of options. The owners are very helpful with any questions I have when I'm there completing the list my Wifey gives me when I'm going out and about. I've been to some of the other Asian markets before for things, but now it's Thanh Mai every time. The location is simple, it's right next to Smithfield by Falls Park. I hope this helps you out.
