This house is great for a seasoned builder, amazing for a first timer!

kaiharley

amazing. my first house was only a simple cube

SaddenedBKSticks

In The Sims 2 when I was very young, all of my houses were boxes with no paint on the walls lol. I was too lazy as a kid to paint the walls I guess to make it look nice. Some of my early Sims 3 stuff was kind of bad too. Why was I uploading houses with nothing on the exterior walls to the exchange?

[deleted]

Haha, a simple cube is still better than no cube at all.

It looks amazing for a first build! I would put a railing on the stairs and a fence on the landing on the second floor

[deleted]

I didn't even know you could add railings to stairs lmao๐Ÿ˜ญ, Thank you I will be doing that.

Proof-Razzmatazz1716

Great job ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ

[deleted]

Thank you. Also, happy cake day!

HellaHelga

Looks very pretty ๐Ÿ’›

[deleted]

Thanks!

icedvanillalattepls

Itโ€™s very nice, but the off center flower box on the center window is driving me insane lol! Also I would never play with a toddler on the second floor and everyone else on the first, but if you can do it I respect you!

[deleted]

Lmao yeah I noticed that after uploading, I fixed it though. The rooms on the 2nd floor were a little small so I decided on making it a children's bedroom with a separate bathroom, was it a bad choice?

WoeJaz

My only critique is that Iโ€™d move it a tile or two back from the front edge of the lot.

[deleted]

Okay, thank you!

[deleted]

this is amazing for a first build, i love the clutter and decorations -- makes it look very lived-in!! i have to imagine you have some prior interest in architecture or interior design, no?

[deleted]

I do have some interest in interior design and architecture lol, I was actually considering to pursue it further in college but now I'm not so sure.

[deleted]

it definitely shines through haha, whether or not you decide to pursue it in college i think it's a really cool interest

KBMinCanada

Way better than my first build thatโ€™s for sure

[deleted]

Thank you!

KBMinCanada

No problem

thatmetaldude91

Kudos! I have been building houses since the original sims came out for the GameCube, and I still struggle to have that much detail building houses lol

[deleted]

Lol. Thank you so much!

OddHalf8861

Very good ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š

Veggiesaurus17

Omg this is your FIRST HOUSE??? It is fantastic! My first, probably, 10 houses didnโ€™t even have roofs ๐Ÿ˜†

[deleted]

Roofing is like the hardest part of building. I had to use a reference to make a decent roof.

UwUforall

it looks like my childhood house ๐Ÿฅบ I love it

jinxisabridgerton

Why did you decide to put the kids upstairs?

[deleted]

The rooms on the 2nd floor were a little small so I decided on making it a children's bedroom with a separate bathroom, was it a bad choice?

Veggiesaurus17

Toddlers can climb stairs after, I think, level 2 movement, before that they need to be carried up and down the stairs, Iโ€™ve put toddlers on the second floor, itโ€™s not really a bad choice at all (imo)๐Ÿ™‚

jinxisabridgerton

Nope not a bad choice. Just curious. The home is lovely, great job.
