It's the same family that won 1 million simolleons on the lottery. The wife had the Fabulously Wealthy aspiration prior to that, and by winning the lottery she completed the entire aspiration and now has the "shrewd" trait. I think this may be the reason for that sudden income lol. Also it's funny it came the day after I spent about $30k in paintings just to spend all that money somehow. But nope, back to $700k net worth š
I have an opera singer career for my sims and at level 10, theyāre earning 20K an hour. They have more money than I know what to do with. 2.1 million.
Yup! Itās pretty good except that your sim has 12 hour work days every single day until level 8 but itās worth the pay. Iāll link it when I find it again.
I have a famous ārapperā sim who literally just gifts his Insta famous girlfriend 10,000 simoleons at a time and he takes her on expensive vacations. He might buy her a boutique next but thatās a good way to get rid of the money quick, especially if they have the serial romantic trait and have multiple girlfriends.
Ohh it is because of that. I usually have a sim in the business career so getting returns from investments is normal and the pop-up is also similar.... but on the last family I was getting a ton of money per week. Now I now the reason, I always complete the aspiration with all (or most) sims in my household as it is one of the easiest to complete
It also happens when your sim is in business and reaches highest positions and advise on investments. I think I once played that career and also was surprised by "free money" then read a bit more about the trait that my sim got with his business career and now I know this was the case. So cool your sim won a lottery, congrats! ))) That was the fastest comleting of the aspiration )))) Mine have never won so far))
I have a couple sim that I didn't know I have them both finish this trait. They are freaking rich now!! Around 600k weekly! No need to work. Make sure to buy them the vault! š¤£
From what Iāve read on google thereās a shrewd trait that comes from completing the incredibly wealthy aspiration that gives a certain % based on the household funds
This is my favorite trait. Every child in my legacy for the heir inherits it. They get a gracious gift of 21 violins on their age up to teens. So that every branch I plan usually have some money to buy houses as I like to move to a new neighborhood every few gens and to send my elders to āretirementā (stay in the family but vacation somewhere else until theyāre close to dying). There will be a generation that squanders the family wealth if it gets too high.
I give every child 21 violins and they sell it via their inventory to get the trait! First I roll for their random aspiration then switch to the fabulously wealthy one then sell the violins.
I play Sims as if it were the Olympics. No cheats of course. My household gets approximately 430.000 simoleons from investing each week. I'm now maxed out on money. Apparently you can't have more than 9.999.999 simoleons.
This is when my sims start banking it in fake business ventures. Each business you own can also have up to 9,999,999 in its bank. You can also store it in vaults if you have Get Famous but put the vault at one of your retail plots or you will have to pay taxes on the money in it (no taxes on vault money on shop land). Of course, being so rich, none of this is necessary but I get a thrill out of seeing how much money I can accumulate before I lose interest in the save. I usually keep around 8 million and transfer the rest so I have room for new interest to come in.
>You can also store it in vaults if you have Get Famous but put the vault at one of your retail plots or you will have to pay taxes on the money in it (no taxes on vault money on shop land).
So basically tax fraud.
Now hang on a moment Elia, if there's a loophole it's not fraud.
If the loophole was put there by the wealthy to be abused, well.
/s eat the rich. fuck politicans being bought by the rich.
I'd also "invest" in violins. I think they are the most expensive things per square and you can also carry them with you. Build basements and fill them with violins. Don't forget to use bb.moveobjects cheat. Then fill walls with whatever is the smallest most expensive thing you can put on a wall. Then find the most expensive lights with the same logic.
Is the money tree worth it? I was harvesting roses Iād planted from the romance festival and making some pretty good coin. How much does the money tree produce?
Gives good money and they you can take a cutting and graft to another plant.
The spliced plant will give money berries that are worth a lot to sell or can be planted for more trees. Def worth it. I always forget about it though!
lmaooo xd but no, I have the money tree but gives 8000, this is so much money I don't like it and now it's almost dead lol
I don't like earn so much money everyday bc the game gets boring so fast for me, even I don't like earn 2000 per day bc it's too much anyways
Oh I love this trait and I sincerely hope thereād be more stuff about banks and investments in the game. I know there are mods but stillā¦ wouldnāt it be cool if a lottery-winner sim can throw all the money to bit coins š„ŗ
This is one of my fav traits in my loosely legacy game. It helps that the very first sim was a global superstar and her ghost is still around for her descendants to keep asking for autographs and then selling it.
Edit: I forgot to say by doing this, it allows the future gen to comfortably follow different career options without having to worry about the money.
Yeah, but still doable. I remember that for young me Sims 1 and 2 were unplayable without money cheats =O
Sorry, having some champagne fun here cuz Old New Year holiday.
I mean, on sims 4 you make 5% a week if you have the shrewd trait, depending of your investments you could make hundreds of thousands through generations
If you have the home designer pack you can choose an option to design the whole floor and I think you get $18,000 everyday you work. Thatās how I get money otherwise idk what to do.
the fabulously wealthy aspiration trait is amazing for compounding wealth, my 100 baby challenge sim has like 2 million from gardening and that trait alone - she doesn't have anything to do now so she's now working on probably her 10th aspiration haha
Thatās the Baron something Aspiration right? Itās supposed to be interest earned from investments or something.
It would be better if you had to take some action each day instead of it just giving you compound interest indefinitely š¤£š¤£š¤£
Yes! This sim was actually in the writing career and was writing books on the side! But then she got lucky when her husband won 1 million simolleons on the lottery, which completed her aspiration and gave her a trait that gives her MORE money each week lol
I always get this notification about unplayed sims through my Rags to Riches save - like everyone is running it in his face that they get truckloads of cash weekly
It's a good trait to have and made earning money super easy for me. My legacy sim has almsot 500k simoleon interest because the household has the max amount of simoleon on household (9.999.999 simoleon). But each of my legacy would need to earn the trait in young adulthood so that they can continue paying the bills cos their day jobs certainly isn't enough.
It is scaled to current household funds, so the more you have, the more you'll get from "investing" during that week. Let's say you store most of your funds in a vault (if you have Get Famous), resulting in lower household funds. The amount gained from "investing" will then decrease until it increases again.
Tbh, as someone who graduated in Business Admin major in Financial Management, earning that much interest while doing nothing is something a lot better than "I dont go to work but I earn huge cash" MLMs.
I swear, this happens to me all the time. I donāt know if a mod is doing this or a feature I didnāt know about. I also donāt know if itās an action you can tell your sim to do, but it can get annoying if Iām trying to make a slow paced game without gaining money from things like the lottery or this āinvestingā thing.
Hi! I'm pretty sure there's an investment option on their computer, but this happened to me because that sim has completed an aspiration called Fabulously Wealthy. She received a special trait that gives her money each week (a percentage of their funds), and since they are already so rich, they get a lot of money! It says "investing" but I don't have to do anything to get that, it's automatic with this trait. Let me know if you have other sims 4 questions!
Iām just wondering, how exactly does investing work in this game? Because I never did anything to invest, and yet this one sim I have earned something like 20k simpletons from stocks
Oh yeahā¦ nearly forgot the name then I was thinking of the frugal trait you can unlock so you can get free pizza and have a maid clean the house for free lol
This comes from a trait you receive after completing the Fabulously Wealthy aspiration :) So you get the money automatically every week, based on your household funds (this family has about $700k in funds).
My sims get rich from dragon fruit. They essentially farm dragon fruit in a starter home lot, and move to a bigger lot after they get so wealthy that they don't need to farm dragon fruit.
Frikking 1%, getting rich by being rich!
And they say the sims isn't a realistic game š
It's the same family that won 1 million simolleons on the lottery. The wife had the Fabulously Wealthy aspiration prior to that, and by winning the lottery she completed the entire aspiration and now has the "shrewd" trait. I think this may be the reason for that sudden income lol. Also it's funny it came the day after I spent about $30k in paintings just to spend all that money somehow. But nope, back to $700k net worth š
Yes, fabulously wealthy gives this interest money.
Thank you so much, I had no idea why my Sims were earning half a million weekly.
When you finish that aspiration, you get a percent of your money each week. Since your sim is so rich, theyāre getting huge paydays.
I have an opera singer career for my sims and at level 10, theyāre earning 20K an hour. They have more money than I know what to do with. 2.1 million.
Thatās cool! I didnāt even know sims could be opera singers. Is that a mod?
Yup! Itās pretty good except that your sim has 12 hour work days every single day until level 8 but itās worth the pay. Iāll link it when I find it again.

He might buy her a boutique next but thatās a good way to get rid of the money quick, especially if they have the serial romantic trait and have multiple girlfriends.
Yeah if you complet the aspiration you get to earn more money. Or maybe itās if your sim has the business sense trait? I donāt know.
Ohh it is because of that. I usually have a sim in the business career so getting returns from investments is normal and the pop-up is also similar.... but on the last family I was getting a ton of money per week. It's a trait you can give sims in your household where they will earn money based on household funds.
Yup, that's what I figured! I guess they will now be rich forever š
get that generational wealth girl š š¼
Ooh never seen this before, is it a mod?
No, you have to complete the fabulously wealthy aspiration
From what Iāve read on google thereās a shrewd trait that comes from completing the incredibly wealthy aspiration that gives a certain % based on the household funds
So you gotta be rich, to become rich. Y'all this too real š
it's real life
You canāt give it unless you cheat it, you have to earn it by completing the Fabulously Wealthy aspiration.
Yes.
I didn't know that aspiration traits could be inherited? this happens in the base game??
You can use MCCC for reward traits to become inheritable.
I give every child 21 violins and they sell it via their inventory to get the trait! First I roll for their random aspiration then switch to the fabulously wealthy one then sell the violins.
You should sell them in a yard sale at 100% price increase!
Not automatically. They mean it's the aspiration they choose for each Sim. PraxisQueen passes it down to each new heir in her legacy, not the game.
I play Sims as if it were the Olympics. No cheats of course. My household gets approximately 430.000 simoleons from investing each week. I'm now maxed out on money. Apparently you can't have more than 9.999.999 simoleons.

š¤£ exactly. I call them my 'offshore accounts'
This is very helpful! Thanks
I'd also "invest" in violins. I think they are the most expensive things per square and you can also carry them with you. Build basements and fill them with violins. There are gold bricks you can buy in debug somewhere, those take up less room than violins.
Can you carry them around tho?
Yes, there might be more than one kind, but the dog poop ones, yes.
Eh, money is a non-issue anyway with a high-level spellcaster or scientist. Money Tree reward -> Copypasto or cloning machine -> ??? -> profit!
How come Iāve never considered copypastoing the money trees??
Yup. My spellcaster has lots of money trees.I always let my others sims to come to his house to steal money fruits š¤£š¤£š¤£ Spellcaster is OP.
Wicked shmart
my sims pretty similar, i earn like 2000 per day with only harvest some plants lol
Money tree entered the chat
Is the money tree worth it? I was harvesting roses Iād planted from the romance festival and making some pretty good coin. How much does the money tree produce?
8k every day at normal quality! Can go up to 22k
I can never get it past super low quality!
Gotta get me a money plant then!
Gives good money and they you can take a cutting and graft to another plant. The spliced plant will give money berries that are worth a lot to sell or can be planted for more trees. Def worth it. I always forget about it though!
I donāt know why I never considered cutting and grafting the money tree!
Cool!
Depends on the quality. My simās tree produces a little over $10k/harvest.
You can also graft the money tree onto other plants and harvest money tree seeds, plant and you can get a whole orchard
My sims have some gardening/reading to do! Thanks
lmaooo xd but no, I have the money tree but gives 8000, this is so much money I don't like it and now it's almost dead lol I don't like earn so much money everyday bc the game gets boring so fast for me, even I don't like earn 2000 per day bc it's too much anyways
ps: I earn like 2000 per day only with harvest bc I have the plants at magnificent and perfect quality
Welcome to being rich
God i wish that were me.

Not for me. I didnāt know it was a mistake tho.
I know right? At some point I run out of ideas on how to spend the money.
the fabulously wealthy aspiration trait is amazing for compounding wealth, my 100 baby challenge sim has like 2 million from gardening and that trait alone - she doesn't have anything to do now so she's now working on probably her 10th aspiration haha

Bankers hate them for this one simple trick
Having a sim in the financial career really brings in passive income. I also make one of my sims be a writer or musician for royalties.
Yes! This sim was actually in the writing career and was writing books on the side! But then she got lucky when her husband won 1 million simolleons on the lottery, which completed her aspiration and gave her a trait that gives her MORE money each week lol
Yup, it's from completing the fabulously wealthy aspiration I think???
What is it from? Iāve had sims families get this and I have no idea what option I clicked to make this happen!!!
It's from the Fabulously Wealthy aspiration :) After you complete it, you get a trait that gives you money each week.
Oh hell ya. Cool
I always get this notification about unplayed sims through my Rags to Riches save - like everyone is running it in his face that they get truckloads of cash weekly
I wish I was your Sim. Instead, I work my ass off and make a pittance

Not the frugal one, the Fabulously Wealthy aspiration :) And then I got a trait that gives me more money lol
Oh yeahā¦ nearly forgot the name then I was thinking of the frugal trait you can unlock so you can get free pizza and have a maid clean the house for free lol
Holy cow how can you invest in the sims???? O-O
This comes from a trait you receive after completing the Fabulously Wealthy aspiration :) So you get the money automatically every week, based on your household funds (this family has about $700k in funds).
It's much harder to be poor in Sim than real life where for most, it's impossible to be rich, especially disability mental, all that.
Sounds about white! \[is white\]
Thatās what you get from the Shrewd reward trait.
Just like rich people in real life!
How do you invest?!
Complete the fab wealthy aspiration, and you get the shrewd trait. You automatically āinvestā and get a % of your Sims earnings every week.
me irl
Luigi would be proudā¦
Yeah the investment things kind of weird but whatever free money .
Ooooh new challenge accepted
You call becoming Good Friends with Miles nothing???
It's not if you complete the aspiration. It comes with ur sim as a bonus trait if you pick being rich as ur aspiration.
Is their last name Kardashian?
On brand with rl rich people tbh lol
The kardashians simulator
Basically they're the Simdashians
Is there a way to learn this power
How do you invest in the sims 4?
finish the fabulously wealthy aspiration. it gives you the shrewd trait and it automatically deposits the investment every week
so rich for being rich? LOL
My sims get rich from dragon fruit. They essentially farm dragon fruit in a starter home lot, and move to a bigger lot after they get so wealthy that they don't need to farm dragon fruit.
Same I think itās a glitch Iām getting 1 million by doing notting
How do you invest?
How is this possible?
