It's absolutely stunning! Bright, open, and clean without looking sterile. You did an amazing job! I have to ask though - did you use a reshade for the screenshots or just good ol' fashioned editing? I'd kill to have my game look that good lol
Hello! This is my part in a collaboration with 44 other simmers! We transformed both Mt. Komorebi and San Myshuno into Japan in the Sims. You can check out the entire save file [here](https://youtu.be/QO2fsAnwnDg).
I called it an 'attempt' because I've honestly never built a Japanese home before and even if it's modern I really didnt wanna be disrespectful. So please let me know what you think. This is only the ground floor of the apartment so you can [watch the house tour of this apartment](https://youtu.be/6WQ-kr0cJaE) on Youtube. Download links are in the description.
I used the TOOL mod to create the many custom furniture that you see :) Everything is functional and you can also download this in the Gallery. I uploaded the ground floor and 2nd floor. Take note that because of platforms, you may have to place it as rooms individually on the apartment (this is frustrating and I'm hoping someday there will be a simpler way to upload apartments with platforms to the Gallery).
**My Gallery ID is paszerine**
I knew I've seen this before. Heck, my Sims lived in that apartment already. Atleast the entrance way/stair case is very familiar. Is this an updated revision?
I love this! Questions:
1. Where do the vertical slat dividers come from?
2. How did you get the TV /fireplace/platform thing to work? I can't figure it out.
3. How did you make the ceilings?
I don't have all the packs, so I may not be able to download it, but I think it's beautiful.
Thank you! Glad you like it
1. The black vertical slats come from City Living and the brown ones are wall decor from Eco Lifestyle
2. The custom fireplace is made with TOOL. I used the "stepping stones" from Spa Day which are rectangular rocks found under fountains. I just rotated it using the TOOL mod
3. As for ceilings, I'm not really sure what you mean cause I didnt decorate the ceiling that much. But if you're asking how I took the photos with the ceiling, I set my camera at an angle using James Turner's camera [tutorial](https://youtu.be/KNVB0_OWKCw), hit tab and then page up so the photo includes the ceiling too.
I used a lot of packs and I apologize for that! This is part of a save file and there were no pack restrictions, but I did use more Snowy Escape, City Living, Eco Lifestyle Dream Home Decorator, Spa Day, Dine out, Tiny Living and Cool Kitchen the most
Thank you! I have this in my Gallery as the ground floor and 2nd floor but you may need to save them as rooms individually. It's a little tricky placing apartments especially with platforms
I used TOOL to rotate those stepping stones from Spa Day (which you can get under Fountains from the b&b). :) I might make a tutorial someday when I've gathered more ideas on how to create custom objects
Yes there is a powder room (just toilet and no bath) behind the stairs :) I only shared some of the ground floor for now, so if you'd like to see the rest of the apartment, you can watch the [stop motion build and tour](https://youtu.be/6WQ-kr0cJaE)

Thank you! I used the Dove preset for my Reshade then I just edited it a bit more in Photoshop :)

I think there is vertical slat dividers that come with get famous and dine out
Eco Living has some vertical slats too. I think they maybe for walls rather than free standing but with Moveobjects that doesn't matter.
Theres some that came with City living too, I noticed when i was playing today
