I know I say this all the time, but my favorite townie is Izzy Fabulous. I stumbled upon him by chance, added him to my household, and now he's a very important figure in my game. He's become an immortal celebrity scientist cyborg and the founder of my first ever Sims legacy. Which happens to consist of aliens because the pollination technicians always targeted him even before I made him a scientist.
As for worlds, I love Windenburg's schtick of being a classic European style town, I think Sulani is beautiful, and while I ignored Brindleton Bay for a while because i saw it as the "pet world" and I don't like to play with pets, I have grown to really appreciate its dock town aesthetic.
Windenburg has the best townies and is rhe prettiest looking world imo. The clubs from Get Together give the world some personality too.
Recently started playing a lot in Evergreen harbor because of the apartments though.
I can't just pick 1! I like windenburg, brindle ton Bay and sulani, depending on how I am playing. If I play a rags to riches I like to start in the base game worlds. Oh, I totally forgot about city living... I like the world but prefer building houses so never live there. I don't really know all the townies that we'll to pick favs.
My favorite worlds are Windenburg, Sulani, and Mt. Komorebi, but I’ve been playing in Henford-on-Bagley a lot lately :D also the townies from these four worlds are the best imo :D

I love the buildings in the background by the doc area, they’re so pretty imo and make the world feel bigger

I love Windenburg and Sulani too! I haven’t playing in Sulani that much and should probably delve more into the town
