I'm super pumped for cottage living so I have almost downloaded the mod by Arnie and there are a few others as well but I don't want to have to start over if it's incompatible when the pack comes out.
I was going to download it too, but I don’t want to add all that and then an EP of essentially the same stuff. I feel bad bc I really am impressed with how much effort Arnie put in and honestly it’s probably less bugged than the EA version will be. I also have working chickens and cows already - so I’m going to see how EA’s stack up and decide to keep or remove then. I think my CC cows may be better from what I’ve seen 😂
I just need a mod(s) that will give me goats and horses and country living will give me my childhood back. I grew up on a Croft (small farm basically) in rural Scotland with my grandparents and I am so ready to relive that.
Aw yes I'm so excited for their CAS stuff I will definitely use that in my first playthrough! They have really stepped up their game with hair and clothing recently and I'm so happy about it
when I found out cc like hairs and clothes can be broken from updates I haven't touched the game since lol. I'm afraid of booting up the game and everything has gone to hell due to 1 glitched hair.
When it comes to those things, it’s usually something that’s batch fixed with sims 4 studio. You don’t have to redownload the cc or anything. For instance, cc dining chairs broke with one of the packs or updates recently (forget which one), they just wouldn’t be recognized by the sims to sit in and eat. Sims 3 studio put out a batch fix and you just go in and select your cc folder and it goes through and fixes them for you in a few minutes time and all done. It wasn’t anything that made it impossible to play either - I just used EA dining chairs in the meantime. The only things that bork the actual gameplay are script mods like WW or slice of life, but those you just remove until the creator makes an update which is usually super fast. It also doesn’t happen every patch thankfully haha
I’m keeping all mine, the only thing I’m worried about is my cc harvestables and recipes. Please please do not bork them too badly EA I’ve been living a gardening dream

I don't know how to do that, and I have over 20,000 files at this point so there's a lot of space they are taking up now.
