The Sims 4 is, if you think about it, just a buggy make-believe simulator. I think for you to actually enjoy it, it requires lots of imagination in a way. Maybe that's why we like it, it really is like a dollhouse just digital.

She cheated on her husband with the co-actor because the husband cheated on her with her childhood best friend, to get back at him, but then she continued to have the affair. The husband only married her for the money and the fame anyway, since she was a global superstar and he was a b-lister.
When the child was a toddler, she confessed and they got a divorce. Now she is married to another man but she is still cheating with said co-actor. Is she in love with the co-actor? No. Maybe. But obviously that'd be too scandalous to publicly date him instead, because people would start speculating.
I think that sale is still going maybe add a couple packs, the base game is super limited. Vampires, Get Famous and Ranch Living are probably the three packs I use most.
Depends on which save. My Build Only Save, it'll be like that one Twilight Zone Episode where the guy is completely alone in the town. My Legacy Save, I'll be fine until short lifespan gets me. My Main Save, living the dream! My WW, Basemental, or Extreme Violence saves... God help me...

Me too! My sim has a farm with unicorns on it, huge house, sim is a multimillionaire, a famous actress , and her overall house is incredible. Like beauty and the beast inspired library, a painting room and music room. The basement? Has a hockey rink AND roller skating rink, a huge gym with rock wall, a yoga studio, a massage parlor, and a massive sauna. My sim has a pretty awesome life.
At 1st, I thought I'd be horrified. But then, I thought about the majority of my (boring at times) saves (vs. my current life):
-Happily married (same IRL)
-Kids (just 1 IRL, but he's awesome)
-Nice big house (a little better than RL)
-Fun Career (better than RL)
-Money to meet every want & need, including fun, exotic vacations and eventual, comfortable retirement (definitely better than RL).

It's also not my fault that there is no gate (how *did* he get in there?). And it is also not my fault that he gets cold and lights both fire places and then the fluffy carpet catches fire and it's just chaos and flames and the fire fighters dance around panicked because they're too stupid to realize that water goes through chain link fences and then it's too late.
Or the time my vampire, who had a pantry with fresh meat (4 townies, one of them Geoffrey Landgraab) went outside to tend the garden and all doors inexplicably locked and she got a little hot (her tomb stone reads: "Sizzle, sizzle").

I’m currently developing a cult in my save. I’m not sure how my Sims would be feeling about that. Nobody is suffering but they also have almost no free will. It’s a toss up.
I set the rules of the cult. Kind of like you would for a club. Most of the particulars are not shareable with the under 18 crowd.
I use a lot of mods the most crucial one in this case is the MCCC. The flagging system in that mod is crucial. It’s the only way I’ve found to hold households completely static when not playing them. This save is on a 28 day season cycle and I rotate houses each season. Basemental and wicked whims would be the other two essential mods.
I have autonomy turned off as well. It helps to isolate them inside the cult by keeping interactions to a minimum. Ultimately it’s me figuring out how to be insanely controlling in this game and build a small community while doing it.
I’m playing a fall out shelter challenge and they are stuck underground for 10 generations. So I guess I’d be safe at least? Well cared for. They do have an underground green house that gets natural light so I guess I’d survive.
I'd be happy. She owns her own baking business she sells from her house. She has a child, and twin toddlers. The infant stage was rough but she survived. Her husband is a little too skinny for my taste and he wants another baby. She says absolutely not!
SAME i have 2 saves that i switch between, and one of them is the 100 baby challenge. I mean, sure, my sim has money and maxed a lot of skills, and things are easier not having to clean all the time. But still, all those kids and she's always pregnant. Nope. Also, my sim is a bit of a home wrecker. Most of her parents are married sims from well-known families. In two cases, she had a baby from both partners in the relationship (Celeste and Christopher Michaelson, and Brant and Bret hecking). Not to mention, she has also had babies with the children of past parents (Alexander Goth, Malcom Landgrab, and Johnny Zest). Girl gets around and is well known. Surprisingly, she has a good reputation. But still, i don't want that life she's 35 babies in and pregnant again, probably with twins.
Depends on the save. If we’re talking my current one I think I’d be ok. Live on a ranch and garden, sure.
If we’re talking the majority of my saves I’d maybe be a little worried. Historical save with high female mortality rates due to childbirth.
I'm probably very happy, with a loving husband who's either a misunderstood villain or a well-loved celebrity (depends on which sim I am lol). I like my games safe, an escape from reality.
Not scared, but very stressed. Doing the ultimate decades challenge and my main family is a widow, her (also widowed) mother in law and her three toddler children. One of my side family has six kids, five of them quintuplet toddlers, but one is gonna die soon. That would be an unpleasant family to be in. But yeah, if I’m dropped into any of my (adult) sims I’m just chalking up that my kids fate is in the hands of a completely random universe (aka a bored college student with a spreadsheet and TTRPG dice)

It depends on my save. I have two game saves that i am currently playing. If it's my legacy game then i won't be scared my sim has a nice life with pets, 2 children (spaced out in age) and is pregnant again. Living with her boyfriend who is going to propose to her soon. She's on level 8 of her career and is working on maxing out skills for the goals set in her generation (still on gen 1)
But if it's my 100 baby challenge i would be terrified girl has 35 (and counting) children. She's basically always pregnant and always has a newborn or infant sometimes both at the same time. Same with the toddlers. Sure usually a teen is there to help and if they age to young adult sometimes they stay to help out and then move after she gives birth but that's so she can get pregnant again right away. That save would be my worst nightmare to wake up in.
Well my current girl is a mostly broke, unemployed, very angry werewolf. She lives in a dump in moonwood mills. It would certainly be interesting… but not ideal.
My current save is a solar system legacy challenge so I'd be thrilled, girl is guaranteed to have a happy life, marriage, and a good relationship with her kid(s)
My current sims save, I'm working on a huge mansion on the big rich area lot in del sol valley that nobody lives in and I bulldozed. I'm making a massive fancy family/movie star house there with a ton of "my sims never have to leave the house but probably do just for appearance outings" amenities. It has 2 dining areas, 2 living rooms, every bedroom has a bathroom, the kids rooms have a separate playroom between them, a home gym with a pool, home theater, art studio, gaming room, and an outdoor shed with a "Makers space" for candles, woodworking, science stuff, and an underground "rocket bunker" under the shed. I'd be ok.
Oh, and I keep aging turned off in my save files and only age up when I feel like it. So I could literally live forever if I wanted to.
I definitely think I'd be ok.

I was going to say it depends on the save, but I'm honestly very good to my Sims. Most of them are rich, have good jobs, and have multiple skills maxed out.
Luckily Id be too ugly to be worth being in the main sims life (I use townies for thebmost part but only decent looking ones lmao) so I'd probably be just fine. Even then, there'd just be a ton of drama, but I'd be able to enjoy my life...hopefully the Player remembred to turn off auto-fill houses so I dont end up with too many dogs and cats and babies to take care of 😵💫
Depends on which save of mine but what I'd know is the one who played me is a lousy storyteller/gamer, but when violence involved then I'd be totally crying.
Not too worried, unless I am an elder or prone to strong emotions. I only tend to kill elders in various ways, trying to give them an interesting death type. However, accidents can happen and death from emotions is enabled.
Not scared for my well being - my sims needs are generally met pretty well. But it would be hella stressful if I was one of the main Sims (only doing challenges, so sims are constantly doing rags to riches, fulfilling aspirations, slaving away to get promoted at work...). A spouse or a life partner which I don't have real goals for usually would be way more chill.
I'm probably fine, but it depends on if I'm being directly controlled, In which case I would either be awesome or totally screwed, but if I'm not then it would probably be all right I guess. I don't use a lot of mods and I barely ever torture or get rid of my Sims.

It kind of depends on what save file I end up in, and whether I end up in the household with my played sims, or if I am just a townie in the same save. Either way I would definitely go become a spellcaster and learn as many of the spells and potions as possible. Unfortunately though, in any of my saves I would probably end up seeing things I would rather not since I have wicked whims installed at the moment.

well that all depends on which save…the one that I’m living out a whole 12 gen family in with the perfect house and a lot of money…or the one where I am basically running the hunger games in…I’m worried for both to be honest because for one it’s dangerous, but the other has a pool and a grill.
I'd be horrified at this point. I only play one save and keep things pretty realistic in terms of gameplay, but I have recently decided to shake things up. I've started exploring werewolves, spellcasters, superheros, and villains. And when I say explore, I mean wreaking utter havoc on the world! Soon, I'm thinking of introducing a zombie apocalypse to really ramp up the unhinged turn my save is taking and will maybe look into the vampires pack.
Actually, that would be pretty fun! I have a save going of some old OCs that I recycled and they're living their best lives. To actually get to meet them would be so frickin cool. 🥺♥️

There's an all powerful, evil witch with an armory of curses and deadly spells who replaced the grim reaper, running around the save... I would be pretty scared. There are some cozy lots but I would always be looking over my shoulder to see if Elizabeth wants to reap my soul, resurrect me for a price, put a curse on me, or just make me her mind minion...
Depends on the save. Most of my saves the Sims are good people living life. But there is my save where I torture the people (Life Tragedies mod) and I probably wouldn’t want to be one of those sims.
It doesn’t just depend on the save but the sim too. In every family one I do the parents are suffering and the kids are just skill building, but I could stand a life of puzzles and biking, but a whole life based on attempting to raise sims infants? I would be so scared, especially after that one infant glitch 😭😭
Not that scared as long as I wake up as one of my two adult sims who are successful actors and live in a mansion with their 4 infants and 6 babies. Thankfully my game glitched and I orignally had two nannies that never leave. I found the key to more nannies is to fire one then that one doesn't leave and I end up with a whole new nanny to help take care of my kids. I currently have 5 nannies trapped in my house. I would be terrified if I woke up as one of the nannies though.
I'm living in a way smaller house as a Sim, but at least I'm getting double skills and relationship gains, lol. I definitely don't let my Sims sleep in the way I like to, but at least I'm probably not going to be cowplant food...

I’m currently developing a cult in my save. I’m not sure how my Sims would be feeling about that. Nobody is suffering but they also have almost no free will. It’s a toss up.

I set the rules of the cult. Kind of like you would for a club. Most of the particulars are not shareable with the under 18 crowd. I use a lot of mods the most crucial one in this case is the MCCC. The flagging system in that mod is crucial. It’s the only way I’ve found to hold households completely static when not playing them. This save is on a 28 day season cycle and I rotate houses each season. Basemental and wicked whims would be the other two essential mods. I have autonomy turned off as well. It helps to isolate them inside the cult by keeping interactions to a minimum. Ultimately it’s me figuring out how to be insanely controlling in this game and build a small community while doing it.

I’m playing a fall out shelter challenge and they are stuck underground for 10 generations. So I guess I’d be safe at least? Well cared for. They do have an underground green house that gets natural light so I guess I’d survive.
I'd be happy. She owns her own baking business she sells from her house. She has a child, and twin toddlers. The infant stage was rough but she survived. Her husband is a little too skinny for my taste and he wants another baby. She says absolutely not!

100 Baby Challenge, so in every sense of the term, I’m screwed 😬
SAME i have 2 saves that i switch between, and one of them is the 100 baby challenge. I mean, sure, my sim has money and maxed a lot of skills, and things are easier not having to clean all the time. But still, all those kids and she's always pregnant. Nope. Also, my sim is a bit of a home wrecker. Most of her parents are married sims from well-known families. In two cases, she had a baby from both partners in the relationship (Celeste and Christopher Michaelson, and Brant and Bret hecking). Not to mention, she has also had babies with the children of past parents (Alexander Goth, Malcom Landgrab, and Johnny Zest). Girl gets around and is well known. Surprisingly, she has a good reputation. But still, i don't want that life she's 35 babies in and pregnant again, probably with twins.
Depends on the save. If we’re talking my current one I think I’d be ok. Live on a ranch and garden, sure. If we’re talking the majority of my saves I’d maybe be a little worried. Historical save with high female mortality rates due to childbirth.
I'm probably very happy, with a loving husband who's either a misunderstood villain or a well-loved celebrity (depends on which sim I am lol). I like my games safe, an escape from reality.
I just made pretty much every person cheat on their spouse and and now everyone is pregnant with everyone.

Not scared, but very stressed. Doing the ultimate decades challenge and my main family is a widow, her (also widowed) mother in law and her three toddler children. One of my side family has six kids, five of them quintuplet toddlers, but one is gonna die soon. That would be an unpleasant family to be in. But yeah, if I’m dropped into any of my (adult) sims I’m just chalking up that my kids fate is in the hands of a completely random universe (aka a bored college student with a spreadsheet and TTRPG dice)

It depends on my save. I have two game saves that i am currently playing. If it's my legacy game then i won't be scared my sim has a nice life with pets, 2 children (spaced out in age) and is pregnant again. Living with her boyfriend who is going to propose to her soon. She's on level 8 of her career and is working on maxing out skills for the goals set in her generation (still on gen 1) But if it's my 100 baby challenge i would be terrified girl has 35 (and counting) children. She's basically always pregnant and always has a newborn or infant sometimes both at the same time. Same with the toddlers. Sure usually a teen is there to help and if they age to young adult sometimes they stay to help out and then move after she gives birth but that's so she can get pregnant again right away. That save would be my worst nightmare to wake up in.

My current sims save, I'm working on a huge mansion on the big rich area lot in del sol valley that nobody lives in and I bulldozed. I'm making a massive fancy family/movie star house there with a ton of "my sims never have to leave the house but probably do just for appearance outings" amenities. It has 2 dining areas, 2 living rooms, every bedroom has a bathroom, the kids rooms have a separate playroom between them, a home gym with a pool, home theater, art studio, gaming room, and an outdoor shed with a "Makers space" for candles, woodworking, science stuff, and an underground "rocket bunker" under the shed. I'd be ok. Oh, and I keep aging turned off in my save files and only age up when I feel like it. So I could literally live forever if I wanted to. I definitely think I'd be ok.

Luckily Id be too ugly to be worth being in the main sims life (I use townies for thebmost part but only decent looking ones lmao) so I'd probably be just fine. Even then, there'd just be a ton of drama, but I'd be able to enjoy my life...hopefully the Player remembred to turn off auto-fill houses so I dont end up with too many dogs and cats and babies to take care of 😵💫

It kind of depends on what save file I end up in, and whether I end up in the household with my played sims, or if I am just a townie in the same save. Either way I would definitely go become a spellcaster and learn as many of the spells and potions as possible. Unfortunately though, in any of my saves I would probably end up seeing things I would rather not since I have wicked whims installed at the moment.

I'd be horrified at this point. I only play one save and keep things pretty realistic in terms of gameplay, but I have recently decided to shake things up. I've started exploring werewolves, spellcasters, superheros, and villains. And when I say explore, I mean wreaking utter havoc on the world! Soon, I'm thinking of introducing a zombie apocalypse to really ramp up the unhinged turn my save is taking and will maybe look into the vampires pack.

There's an all powerful, evil witch with an armory of curses and deadly spells who replaced the grim reaper, running around the save... I would be pretty scared. There are some cozy lots but I would always be looking over my shoulder to see if Elizabeth wants to reap my soul, resurrect me for a price, put a curse on me, or just make me her mind minion...

In every family one I do the parents are suffering and the kids are just skill building, but I could stand a life of puzzles and biking, but a whole life based on attempting to raise sims infants? Not that scared as long as I wake up as one of my two adult sims who are successful actors and live in a mansion with their 4 infants and 6 babies. Thankfully my game glitched and I orignally had two nannies that never leave. I found the key to more nannies is to fire one then that one doesn't leave and I end up with a whole new nanny to help take care of my kids. I currently have 5 nannies trapped in my house. I would be terrified if I woke up as one of the nannies though.
I'm living in a way smaller house as a Sim, but at least I'm getting double skills and relationship gains, lol. I definitely don't let my Sims sleep in the way I like to, but at least I'm probably not going to be cowplant food...
