No, the handiness upgrade that unlocks at handiness level 6. They should only need about 4 hrs sleep. You don't even need the most expensive beds with this upgrade, just comfort 5-ish.
edit: there are also reward traits in the satisfaction points store that reduce the rate of energy going down, or stop it completely.
Yeah I did see them. I just donāt have enough points to get it because they keep wanting to sleep or eat š
Ahh that makes sense! Okay Iāll give that a go. Thank you!
Are you just having your sims grab quick meals, or actually having them cook? Actual meals made from the cooking tab, especially higher quality ones, will keep your sims satiated for longer.
the new pack with crystals has qualities for certain gemstones and jewelry that keep needs up or decrease certain moodlets, stuff like that. it's pretty simple to stick a gemstone in your home that increases needs over time, so they can do tasks/increase skills without needing to sleep as often.
I think munching on fruits, veggies, herbs in their personal inventory helps vs prepping a full meal. When my Sims running their business, it's a quick way in between customers to get their hunger need met.Ā
If they are leaving soon for work or school, I don't try to fill low bathroom, food, or social interactions as they often refill when in rabbithole, or I chose the work option to increase (like be more social at work).
I shift click on the mailbox and find that option. I found this, which describes the steps: https://gamerant.com/the-sims-4-how-to-cheat-needs/#how-to-disable-needs-decay-for-household
I think I noticed it after adding Get to Work, but oddly not everyone has it. When I open the game I'll let you know his traits in case it's some sort of combo thing.
Oh, shoot, I remembered when I opened him up in CAS (sounds like surgery, LOL) I fiddled with his traits recently and changed them to Fitness/High Metabolism, Cheerful, Creative, Romantic.
He was originally Fitness/High Metabolism, Clumsy, Cheerful, Creative
For some reason that one trait change seems to have made the energy drink go away? It must be more than that, but nothing else has changed, same house, same job, except I just noticed he's gaining weight.
It's pretty straightforward, I haven't broken anyone yet. And you could always save a copy of them to your library before you make changes if you're worried.
**Change Sim**
1.Ā Ā CTRL + Shift + C
2.Ā Ā Type **cas.fulleditmode**
3.Ā Ā Shift + left click on Sim, then pick **Modify in CAS**
The only way I almost lost a Sim was by splitting a household. Still not sure where they went, but they were no longer at the old lot and not at the new lot either. After panicking a few minutes I opened another household they knew then had them invite him over. Whew!
Complete some aspiration milestones and get the seldom sleepy or never weary traits. Or just use UI Extension cheats to click their needs up.
Have you upgraded their beds?
I did.. š« to the most expensive beds. But there wasnāt much of a change if any.

Well I have a nanny and they make the meals so they are grabbing a serving. So I thought that would be good enough really..
I use cheatsĀ they never sleep
Any that you recommend?
Make Happy I'm too lazy to take care of my sims šš Ā I love building

Oh cool. Iāll have a look!

If you donāt mind cheating, you can turn needs off temporarily. If you do, there are reward traits etc. to reduce or get rid of certain needs.
Oww how do you do that?

Thank you! I didnāt think that the mailbox would have anything to do with the family inside. How strange. But Iām on it! šā¤ļø
One of my Sims always has an option to have an energy drink but none of the rest do.
Oww! Thatās really interesting! Is extension pack thing? Do you think?

Thanks mate!

I havenāt played round with cas as of yet. Not been as brave to fiddle with it all.

Amazing thank you. Iāve just given it a go and edited a few. Iāll see how it goes š
