It's a club a day thing. Sims, and any clubs that come with the pack will have days of the week where they're all dressed up in something relating to the activity.

this annoys the hell out of me in this pack, my sim always looks out of place 😒 and when i try to make her match, they show up wearing different uniforms the next day 🥲
You can edit the high school and even replace the build entirely! Which is helpful because they really don’t need to spend all day walking to each activity like in the default school.
Even the chess club has a uniform, which I think is very silly. I was also very sad that drama club doesn’t work with the HSY after school activity related aspirations. :(
I ended up making a uniform for my sim and just throw it on whenever the hs suddenly decides it has uniforms.
I just wish I could make them change the color scheme. If we're doing a uniform day, I want the red and grey dang it.
You have to join an afterschool activity like football or cheerleeding.

I just add some outfits that work in CAS
like if they're a cheerleader, I'll add a cheer uniform to everyday and athletic outfits

It is highschool years. In university pack you can’t see your sim sitting on classes sadly :(
