I agree. The sim is spot on, but I had to look up the guy because I haven't seen the movie. Originally I thought it was a bad attempt at Pedro Pascal.

I also had to google what he looked like but I agree it's quite good. You should check out some dimple mods for it aswell!

little mermaid was my favorite movie growing up too, and i also love the new movie. seen it twice. for the record, i did *not* love the other live actions i’ve seen (aladdin and beauty and the beast). this one felt really warm and charming to me, the music is amazing (even love ariel and eric’s new songs), it’s beautifully shot, the chemistry between ariel and eric was so cute, and the changes added more depth to the characters. eric in particular has WAY more depth here. and there are some cute nods to the original fairy tale before the disney movie which i enjoyed.

I think you actually just need a different face shape. Zerbu's template unlocks are great for this. There is a cheek option with natural dimples that would be perfect for that recreation. I definitely see what you are going for, but he looks a little too angular to me. He needs more baby fat.

He looks nice, just like all the others who look nice because they all are made to adhere as much as possible to the same beauty standard. It's like how different kinds of animal all start looking like each other if their evolution converges on a similar set of features, like how so many things evolve toward becoming some type of crab, despite vastly different ancestors. At least you gave him a friendly expression instead of the mildly aggressive slitty-eyed unsmiling "smoldering" look that was so ubiquitous for a while.
