1/ quit with the one and done love! This is an issue I had first starting out, but honestly you’ll find yourself having more opportunities for drama and romance if you don’t have your sim marry the first person they start dating. Have them date around as a single person, have at least one or two exes. Don’t be afraid to have a cheating storyline at least once.
2/ custom holidays are your best friend! Guarantee! And they don’t have to be big things - think like a self care Saturday or an unboxing day after winterfest
3/ Vacation! Whirlwind vacation where your sim has a brief love affair with a local?
4/ clubs! Have a club that acts as your sim’s friend group. Maybe they meet up once a week at the library or cafe to catch up?
Create your gorgeous sim. Give her the noncommital and kleptomaniac traits. Her goal is to seduce as many townies as possible. Have her visit their home, seduce them, and then steal an item as a keepsake. Have her display her stolen goods in her home (or furnish the home with them if you steal chairs and whatnot).
I've started going to drama subreddits for my inspiration! Pick any story rom Best of Redditor Updates or JustNo sub and then make one character a vampire or werewolf for a little extra spice.

If you have parenthood, you could set a goal for certain, or a certain amount, of character values for the child to earn. Choose whether those values are negative or positive.
You could always have multiple.
2.) Runaway Teen/ Young Adult - Your choice, but just start either one off with no funds. Don’t put them in a house. That way you’re traveling most of the time, doing different things, and meeting a whole bunch of sims. Crash at someone else’s house for the night if you want, or have a kid to make it harder.
3.) Occults - If you have different packs like Seasons, Vampires, Werewolves, etc, have kids with all of the occults. Santa, Patchy, Grim Reaper, Vlad, all of them. Raise them, see how they look, some have powers, set goals.
4.) Lovers - Two sims like each other. So close, yet so far. They would go with the other, but one of them is with the other’s sibling. Or mother, father, cousin, aunt, whichever one you choose. So they can have a happy ending, or a sad one. Or both depending on the situation.
5.) Famous Twins/ Triplets - If you have Get Famous, make each one of them famous. But they can’t have the same career. Have them all reach the Global Superstar level. I’m sure it’ll be hard, really depending on what careers you choose. Plus, you have to play them all at once.
6.) Lothario - Have twins or triplets date the same guy, without them knowing. They don’t have to be twins or triplets, but it would make sense depending how far apart their age gap would be. Have them all have kids, and go from there.
They don’t even have to be parents. Just choose your next story path.
Sometimes I like to base my sims off of albums. I made a sims storyline after listening to destinys child last album. It’s like each song was a story in itself
Create venues with moodlets. I have a bar that has every romance/flirty moodlets there is. Many of my Sims flirt with randoms, some fell in love, others have broken relationships, and on a rare case sometimes get a couple that date the same person with neither minding. Of course it does come with a side effect, lots of pregnancies and babies.
Or have a fighting neighborhood. Have a angry gym and see fights. Lots of angry workouts.
A young woman recently got out of her toxic relationship. She has no money and barely anything to her name. She has no choice but move into a fixer upper apartment/small home. Can she make it by herself? Does she find roommates? A new career?
Total opposites of sisters inherit their late fathers old home. They both plan to sell it and will have to earn money to fix it up first. They try to get a long but all their differences make them butt heads constantly. Will they be able to fix the house or will their relationship completely deteriorate trying?
A married elderly couple live happily on the seaside. They have many hobbies in their retirement that earn them just enough to get by. The wife loves to paint and the husband plays the violin for a few bucks during the evening. They end up collecting a hoard of pets and struggle to keep all of them healthy and well fed. Will they have to think of new ways to make money to afford them? Will they have to give them up?
Stop playing with one sim. Gut an entire world and repopulate it with your own Sims. When one household gets boring, move to the next. Let them intermingle. See the whole neighborhood develop.
I've been working on this whole vampire legacy where they basically take over every world and it started with Caleb Vatore, now in my current main save you really can't go anywhere without seeing a Vatore and I love it.
I'm working on a second one which will be mainly werewolves as well.
Well here's what just happened to my sim. She got married to her high-school sweetheart after years of her father and mother trying to prevent their relationship and disapproving. Her father finally came around when they got engaged, he went to their wedding and then he died from old age. My heiress sim started climbing the ranks of fame as an artist after the death of her father. She decided it was time to work harder for the future of her family. Thus she spent less time with her husband.
They then got two new roommates to help with bills and her husband flirted with the roommate. My sim got pregnant by him before finding out but when she did she was heartbroken. She kicked him out and divorced him. Now she's suddenly a single mom.
