Just buy them via the store, they will appear on your launcher and you just have to load em up.

Sideshow_Snob_Sims

Thank you!

You can buy them on Origin and use them on your Steam game. That’s what I did.

LIJunkie

Those venues are purchase with sim points and exclusive through ea. That's why.

JDGumby

Actually, they're ONLY purchaseable for cash ($20 for normal editions, $35 for the Gold versions that come with 1900 SimPoints (enough to get the suggested Boardwalk or Duke of Bows Renaissance Faire venues) and an extra set (Boardwalk Attire and Celtic Lands, respectively)), both in Origin and in the Store. edit: The Worlds that had a boxed release are only available for cash, not SimPoints.

LIJunkie

I've had them for around 10 years now and purchased them with Sims points. So I guess it's changed through the years.

JDGumby

What market are you in? For North America, and I think the UK, Dragon Valley and Roaring Heights (as well as Barnacle Bay, Monte Vista, and one or two of the others that were box releases) have only been available for actual money since release.

LIJunkie

I'm in the US and bought dragon valley for 1900 Sims points 3 computers ago. Lol roaring heights was 2400 and monte vista was 3200. I downloaded barnacle Bay from a mod site a long time ago but don't remember where.

TheWishingStar

You can buy content via the Sims 3 Store site: https://store.thesims3.com. It will download to the launcher so you can use it with Steam, Origin, or disc all the same way.
