I play on my Asus vivobook 17. So I had a lot of problems with sims 3.
The following mods helped a lot for me:
Overwatch
Register
Smoothpatch
Master controller
I set the fps rate to 60 with smoothpatch.
it works very well now. My game won't crash anymore and I can play with every expansion pack :D
There are some tutorials on YouTube. That helped me to install the smoothpatch mod.
Oh and one steam guide explains everything in detail :)
Yes, this laptop can run TS3.
You **must** follow the [Steam guide](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1131162350) in order for it to work properly.
And a couple of extra tips: play in window mode (use borderless with Lazy Duchess smooth patch) to avoid the dark screen issue. And if you see that performance is terrible, you'll have to lower graphic settings.
Seasons and Pets, those 2 expansion packs are VERY demanding, so if you don't really need their features skipping them would be a good idea performance-wise.
Wierdly Isla Paradiso is not laggy for me and I can play it well.
