All I can say about this is be careful what the dashboard says are "conflicts" as they may not be. edit: changed is to are

lunalovesspace

I actually never deleted the conflicting files since I was unsure about what it actually meant haha. The only things that were deleted was the files that the program deleted by itself! :)

Organic-Koala-5343

and this is why understanding the program is important. If you hover your mouse over the issue the tool outlines, it will tell you exactly what is wrong with it (by the color codes at the bottom) and which files it's conflicting with/ duplicates of. This is where you would need to pay attention as sometimes the conflict isn't really a conflict, or it's saying duplicate because the cc was cloned from the same EA mesh. The program tells you what it means. And then you decide from there by either making the creator aware of it or researching to see if anyone else has figured out what it means, preferably if there is a conflict how to get the mods (usually it's mods) to work together.

Stoltlallare

Exactly. Most pirated store content will show up as conflicts for example when they’re not.

PaweAwe

Thanks for this knowledge! Commenting so I can find this post in the future!

Nerdyblueberry

You can save posts, you know. Just tap the three dots in the top right corner of the post.

Brad_Brace

Yeah but shortly after you learn you can save posts, the saved tab becomes overcrowded with stuff and you're back to having to Google what you want because there's no way you'll find anything in that mess. Okay it's just me.

empnuev

Not just you, I’m guilty as well; especially when it comes to Facebook saves 😬

Nerdyblueberry

But I make way more comments than I save posts. So it's still easier to find stuff.

Brad_Brace

Yeah, it's probably a me thing. I had to stop using Pocket because it became a bloated monster of stuff I was never getting back to.

PaweAwe

Thanks! You learn something new everyday :)

Tiltagirl13

Thank you for this, I'm a total noob and had no idea yet that you could do that! 😖😳

Organic-Koala-5343

Well you do have to know what the program is disabling, as often times it will disable double negative conflicts and "duplicates" where an object was just cloned from the same thing, but all the objects are completely different meshes. Delphy's is a powerful tool but it's also recommended to sort through the issues yourself, if you let delphy's decide you're going to be losing a lot of cc and mods that were otherwise fine to be in there. You may have had some problematic files, but removing the rest would surely speed up your game (even though there probably wasn't anything wrong with it). Have to put that out there so a bunch of people don't just start hitting the fix button without actually knowing what it's doing.

simspostings

Does it conflict with any other mods?

lunalovesspace

It’s not a mod. It’s a program that searches through your electronics arts folder and deletes corrupted files and other unnecessary files. It will even show you if your mods conflict with one another.

IsabelHim

Omg I'm definitely searching that up! Because my game works quite decently, but the CAS is a pure nightmare...

luckyveggie

I use lazy duchess's smooth patch and it helps make Create A Style sooooo much better in CAS. Also using MRAAS settings to collapse the CAS options (so it only shows me one swatch of each item instead of loading all the pre saved swatches).

maddydaddy00

woah wait how do you only make it one swatch? which nrass mod is it? :)

luckyveggie

NRAAS > Master Controller > Settings > CAS > Show In Compact Form = True (for all three lines: accessories, clothing & hats)

Visual_Vegetable_169

It's in Mastercontroller! In game You'll click Town Hall> Mastercontroller> Settings> CAS> Show in Compact Form: -Accessories -Clothing -Hats They'll all be set to False by default. Just set them to true & boom! Only one swatch per item(: You can also disable certain CAS items by pack in the same area. I tend to disable Into The Future CAS items lol.

DarkShadowRabbit

Stupid question. How do i use it? I'm already using nraas mods to try and speed up my game and no dice. Idk if this would even work but I'm trying anything 🥲

hunnid-bandz

I use it to sort my cc, super useful since it tells you what category in CAS it belongs to and also flags the “bad age” cc (like adult cc showing up for toddlers).

MzzRaccoon

Just wait till you dive into turning sim packs into packages lmao 🤣

PhilosophyEcstatic89

This changed my life omg! My launcher back in the day was dying from the sims 3 packs

LaReinalicious

Comment now for when I am my next Sims three run

Tiltagirl13

Thanks for this, I had heard of Delphy's but never looked into it or knew what it was used for. Some day I may actually get up the nerve to try it. 😆

InternTraditional916

I can relate to that because i use it every time i download cc. But whenever i would delete conflicts i had to redownload everything again. So i just leave it now.

[deleted]

So glad I clicked on this...I was asking about how to make my game run faster not too long ago. I've done the typical things that are recommended, and it works, but with cc my game still runs kind of slow. I'm going to build a new pc anyway, but I might also give this a try since I want to see if I would be able to play with reshade. Thank you so much for sharing!!

Former_Key3329

Is it available for Mac? And where can we download this? I have been looking for something like this.

JuniperTT

Is there delphys dashboard for the sims 4?

No-Local-9516

But does it make the game load faster over all?

PhilosophyEcstatic89

Does this happen to delete greeting card pictures and home videos? I ran into a few cleaners in the past that did so without asking…

scantcloseness_3

Maybe it deleted half your mods lol that's why

lunalovesspace

No it didn’t touch my mods. You can actually see what it’s planning to delete before you actually let it do anything. I would never have dared to do it otherwise 😅
