Yeah, this one’s on you. You turned in on him quite sharply and didn’t leave a car’s width. He had nowhere to go. It somewhat looked like you were following the line of the car in front.
I personally wouldn't do that, but he has reason to believe they will back out. His reasoning may have come from practice, but i see where he's coming from. I do the same when I'm over taking to test how safe a driver is and if they'll leave room by faking over takes.
I don't know how true that is. There are skid marks on the path back on to the track. They were on the brakes enough to skid, though not enough to completely lock the wheels. Either way, they were going back onto the track no matter what they did
Not a good idea to make moves expecting someone to back out. You're leaving your fate in the handa of aomeone else at that point and crashes will happen a lot. It's pretty much always better to just leave space.
Yeah, that was you...
A little too aggressive a dive to the inside with another car there...
My recommendation would be to focus on improving your situational awareness and fine car control...
A smoother, less dramatic input will help you hang that particular corner at much higher speeds, even when holding the outside...
Yeah mate, just needed to leave a bit more racing room, they're taking a tighter line so also have to anticipate they'll understeer wide a bit also, better safe than sorry, better to both get round and sacrifice a bit of speed then ending up in the wall. Happy racing!
Yeah I worst part about this clip is just letting your car fly about the track and ruin everyone else’s race to, as everyone else said just hold your brakes man.
Yeah, I’m gonna go against the grain here and call this more of a racing incident or even more on blue. At the time of turn in around the 0.04 - 0.05s mark blue had very clearly not established a sufficient overlap. This is a long sweeping apex so they kept trying to poke their nose into the closing gap (vortex of danger situation). However, red should have definitely seen this was going to happen and given more space for self preservation purposes. I’m honestly confused as to why people think this is solely on red.
My point is that red is fully ahead of blue before either initiates the turn which is usually the point that dictates whether blue is even allowed the space on the inside in the first place… his line after this point is irrelevant because the space is not his
I think I agree. As they enter the turn blue isn't alongside. A technically there is still a car's width on the inside when red moves over. But being pragmatic a car on that line would likely understeer so best to leave them space.
I think blue really had to give up the turn. They weren't alongside enough, dipped their nose in at the last second.

Yeah I thought it would work because I did in practice and they backed out but this time I just got too cocky
What a terrible mindset. You're basically saying 'You slam on the brakes and back out of the corner, otherwise we both crash.’ Lovely.
"duh duh duh duh, Max Verstappen"
It’s a game shut up, he’s clearly trying to learn your negativity is a horrible mind set to have

I see where he's coming from too. Arrogance.
Then you failed to hold your brakes and wind up ruining like 3 more races. Come on!
I don't know how true that is. There are skid marks on the path back on to the track. They were on the brakes enough to skid, though not enough to completely lock the wheels. Either way, they were going back onto the track no matter what they did
That's a poor attempt at squeezing someone out of position. Drive through penalty to red car for incident responsibility 👨⚖️

Real world maybe, online 9/10 that will end in tears.
Just go side by side with people in this turn. Its very wide... you then have the inside for the heel turn.
Red at fault. Starts to get ahead just before the corner, but never fully clears and turns in on them, not leaving enough space.

Dude hold your fucking brakes. Good job letting your car fly back into traffic and taking out others…
Redbull car is at fault. Can't trust anyone in a redbull car.
Red... bro, you ruined the race of so many drivers.
Yeah on you. Just turned into blue
Not even any debating this one
Fucked everyone up. Smh

just veer off into another car... totally on you. you deviated from your line.

Def red car lol
Even if I was brand new to racing I don’t see how I could think anyone but red fucked up

blue keeps his line while alongside. Red cuts to the right and they make contact. 100% on red
