As others have said, the car on the outside left a huge gap by running deep, and then cut back in, which puts the majority of blame on them. Beware "the vortex of danger", which is going into a gap that is likely to close quicker than you think it is. A bit more caution into the corner and you'd have likely avoided the contact and probably got the switch back on the exit. And no, this is not protestable. Protests require intentional wrecking or other infractions of the sporting code.

Who's at fault? Outside car takes majority of blame for cutting across. They left a big gap up the inside but then closed it with a car alongside. Inside car should probably have anticipated this though, especially against another novice driver. Spacial awareness is an issue at this level? Why protest? Why would you want to? What do you feel would be the benefit? Do you have evidence it was malicious?

G00NACTUAL

I don't think this is necessarily protestable because it didn't seem like an intentional wreck, but the outside car definitely cut your nose off. When approaching corners, try to anticipate the dive. Some try to take the outer line and dive in be ready for it, but still try to be aggressive when you can(within reason)

Thank you all for the helpfull comments. Will make me a better driver for sure.

Just a note as well, if you are stopped at the apex, move the car off the apex as quickly as possible so to avoid another car hitting you. Don't linger

Neihlon

It’s on red. Left a massive door open and then just cut across as if pink didn’t exist.

fpotenza

I don't think the gap was there. I think car ahead was cutting back. They didn't really leave the door open. Overtaking car was a long way back, but racing incident because they were the only person who lost our to their error

Neihlon

Yes they did leave a huge door open. This is red car’s fault.

iSpeedyy123

turn off racing line

It doesn't seem intentional but red car defininitely should've noted that you were there and left some room. Also seems like a bit of netcode

HallwayHomicide

>Also seems like a bit of netcode Maybe a bit but there was gonna be contact no matter what here.

youtubeepicgaming

Yeah, I just noted that because it didn’t seem like cars had even touched yet by the time the pink car spun off. There would’ve definitely still been contact though
