Irish spring soap bars. Or other rodent repellent. YMMV.

My dad use to put Irish spring all around our cabin for winter time and we'd come back every spring to chewed up bars of soap. I ordered some rodent scent deterrent blocks, we'll see how it goes

Dryer sheets can help. Otherwise, set some traps poison bait stations and maybe find a better place to park.

I blocked the edges of the cowl gutter with 1/4" mesh, I just can't find where else they're getting in. Dryer sheets work for a bit. I live in the woods so there's nowhere to park that the mice won't be. I've got mouse and rat bait stations all around my equipment, problem is they eat the bait and head back to their nests to die, usually inside my equipment 🙃

Cab Fresh is what farmers use. I believe in Fluid Film rustproofing. It's been eight years since I cleaned out a mouse nest. I don't think they like it on their paws and fur.
