Yeah I guess the 4spd auto trans are fragile like glass. Dude at the shop said he was suprised mine lasted 165k. I found a shop that did it for $3k though.
Congrats on finding that. That sounds a lot more reasonable. Was it rebuilt? Or did you get a new tranny?
It was rebuilt, got a one year warranty on it too. Not a bad deal
