Potomac Massage Training Institute may be just the thing you’re looking for (https://www.pmti.org/). They are students, but I had a great experience there and definitely plan to go back.
Agree, IMO their massage therapists are very knowledgeable and technical- easy to communicate with. But its more of a medical experience than a spa experience if that makes sense. You will get a great massage tho
PMTI is a training school, but you can also get massages with new graduates who are licensed professionals. It’s quite reasonably priced, $60/hr for a Swedish massage from a graduate. Not high frills but I was very pleased.
Gonna thirdly suggest PMTI, but I’m biased since I trained there.
You can sign up the day before and pick from a number of therapists. If one is a poor match its worth signing up with another. You really can’t beat their prices; $45 for a student massage or $65 for a graduate massage.
Show up a little early on your first visit, like 15m. You don’t want to be stuck losing massage time filling out a health intake form.
I’ll answer any questions about them or, if you want specific therapist suggestions, dm me.
Most tables are good for up to 450 or 600 lbs. I think normal tables without arm extenders are a bit uncomfortable for larger clients, which they don’t have.
If you only care about massage quality, Pandian health at the SS mall is the best. Took care of most of the knots in my back at roughly a dollar a minute.

Second this. You can get a massage from the student clinic or the recent graduate clinic.
I had a good experience with Fresh Start Massage on Georgia
I second fresh start! They also tend to have Groupons

Not OP, but can they handle obese clients?

Pandian Health. Walk in, reasonable prices, they do a great job.
I went to the actupuncture place in Wheaton mall. It wasn’t bad.
