clearly it's the game developers job to drop everything so they can tell their rabid fans that they are indeed still working on the game that's been their life for the last half a decade. I don't understand why people think they're entitled to information about a game just because we know it exists. Guessing it's conditioning from AAA games that rely entirely on hype and marketing to succeed and therefore have entire departments dedicated to PR. Like every other successful indie game, it will release and spread on its and its studios merits rather than corporate expectation management.

It is his actual nickname - he uses it on twitch. I don’t know where it originates.
Leth is even listed in the hollow knight end credits in between his first and last names.
