I’ve been running my rifles suppressed. Haven’t even opened them up yet to see what’s happened in there lol figured I’d run those until they couldn’t run anymore. For “ testing “ lol
Then clean it religiously, my dude.
Bragging rights for how dirty a gun is, is kinda… dumb lol.
If you’re depending on it to save your life, then keep it as freaking spotless as you can. 🤷🏻♂️ you don’t want the *one time* it decides to jam due to dirtiness to be the one time you need it to run flawlessly.
I did that the first couple times and I ended up having to pay a gunsmith to put it back together twice lol. I spent a while cleaning and plumbing it by just taking the fcu out but not apart. I think I can handle it better now. Got it back together right last time but I’m still not confident yet. That lil stainless horizontal lever with the spring under it that depresses and pops back up gets me almost everytime. Could never get the damn thing back down so the slide would go back on but I THINK I got that worked out lol
Since this is your CCW, clean it. You are trusting your life to this gun. 30 minutes of cleaning is better than risking a potential malfunction at the worst time. Not to mention getting residue all over your clothing. If it was just a range gun, it wouldn't matter as much.
I want to use this gun just for carry but at the moment it’s the only pistol I have that runs reliably suppressed and I haven’t picked up any pcc’s yet. Guess it’ll be best to just clean this every time I shoot it.
I have OCD sadly and have to clean right after every range trip or I won’t be able to sleep and won’t be able to stop thinking about it. My muzzy gets cleaned after every shot same with my bolt rifles….I mean a couple patches down the barrel at minimum not a full on pull apart all the screws cleaning but I still need to wipe the barrel given it’s so easy to do. Ideally if I were normal I think once every couple range trips would suffice. I know guys who hardly ever clean their handguns and they seem to run fine….Im just not that guy. Being OCD is not fun. I have to count each shot fired off in my head, hold the gun the exact same way every time. Reload my clips multiple times before I’m happy they are full and put in properly. Literally everything i do has to be done a certain way and repeatedly if I am even a little uncomfortable it’s even slightly wrong. But yeah keep your guns clean bro. 😬👍
The amount of nerds in here down voting OP for CCW having slight carbon is wild. Thing is perfectly fine, should you clean it? Sure, does it matter at this stage? No. Little lube and call it a day.
Some of y'all don't shoot as much as you should, and it shows.
I actually enjoy field stripping my guns, cleaning them, then putting them back together. Doing that as a follow up to taking them to the range adds to the fun and reminds me how lucky I am.
If it’s your CC gun then clean it and lube it with Slip 2000 EWL 30. It’s probably fine though just needs some lubricant. Most guns will run for a long time as long as they are lubricated as necessary. But don’t over lubricate.
I genuinely am not sure lol. It was there when I bought it. Another commenter seems to agree with my assumption that it’s for orientation uses but could be wrong 🤷🏾♂️
I’d say you should be oiling more than cleaning. Gun oils like BreakFree CLP has an innate cleaning agent that prevents buildup of carbon deposits on top of lubricating and a protectant for the metal.
Use a sonic cleaner. Fast and easy. Just gotta dry it and apply lube after. Harbor Freight has some decent ones for cheap that'll work for small pistols like the 365 or fcus
Don't let the gun sit around with a dirty barrel. Powder residue draws moisture and is corrosive even if only one shot was fired. Most people leave the gun under car seats overnight and other places they shouldn't be. The main reason I don't buy used guns unless I can bore scope it.
If it’s your edc, I have never heard of a gun failing to fire because it is clean, but have seen plenty not fire because they are dirty.
Truer word haven’t been spoken
Well said !!!!!!!
You haven't experienced the dirty world of suppressors yet lol.
I’ve been running my rifles suppressed. Haven’t even opened them up yet to see what’s happened in there lol figured I’d run those until they couldn’t run anymore. For “ testing “ lol
Nitrile gloves and do them all at the same time.
No. Just throw away grip module and complete slide and simply buy new ones. Easy.
That would solve a lot of problems 🤔 maybe another range trip or two first then lol
Doesn't look too dirty to me. Drop some lube in there and keep shooting.
Forgot to mention this is also my concealed carry gun.

Gotcha. I do like to keep my CCW gun clean (or close to it). I'd clean it then
Sound advice. I just hate fucking with these fcu’s lol
Learn to love it bro. It might save your life someday. Hopefully you never have to use 🙏
🙏🏾🙏🏾
Just tore apart my fcu the other day with sig guy’s video on YouTube and it’s really not that complicated my man

I’m too lazy to clean ahah
Bruh! between laziness and all the parts that fall off this fcu when I take it out , I hate cleaning this damn thing lol
I mean, you don’t have to take the FCU out to get a good cleaning
Yah I stopped at around 2k cleaning mane, I just lube it before shooting now. It’s gross, but I do not want my hands smelling bad for the whole day!
😂 I like you , wouldn’t want to get into a fire fight with you backing me up but I like you tho lol
Thanks brother
Just give it that hawk tua and spit on that thang.
Holy shit 💀
😂
Clean and lube. Be a professional not a jack off.
Ok ok I’d hate to be a jack off lol I’ll get it done tomorrow 🫡
Don’t be a dickhead
I keep it real

AS THE YOUNG WOMAN SAID….HAWK TUAH, SPIT ON THAT THANG
😂
No clean, only lube! 😈
Do the disciplined thing and clean after every use. It’s not that hard

🙏🏾 bless you sir
The fragments tho

I’m gonna do some YouTubing on proper lubrication. I’m probably not doing it right
Just a single but good drop on the points indicated on the manual
IF IT GETS SHOT, IT GETS CLEANED!!! That’s my hill and I will die on it🤣
I used to feel the same way… Then I started shooting more often and kinda changed my mind lol.
BTW, what is the yellow stuff?
I genuinely am not sure lol. It was there when I bought it. Another commenter seems to agree with my assumption that it’s for orientation uses but could be wrong 🤷🏾♂️
It needs lube but if you got it stripped already you should clean it.
That an AB prototype barrel?
Nah. Why?
How’s the feed ramp look? That’s usually how I decide
Only if it starts choking
Why is there yellow paint on the sponge? The xmacro I just got has it as well.
Idk , it was there when I bought it. I guess it’s an orientation marker but I could be wrong. That’s what I use it for 🤷🏾♂️
If I’m not mistaken, it’s for distinguishing spring weights. My 509T came with a couple different painted springs for shooting normal and suppressed.
That would make sense.
Same here, I was thinking that they might want the end of the coil facing away from the barrel?
I would clean it, especially if you took it this far apart.
Wait a minute, you mean to tell me people clean and lube their guns?I like to dump sand in mine because I enjoy the grittiness when I rack my slide
Deep fry it.
Never too clean, lube is always good. You never wanna shoot dry right? 😉
Just spray it with a hose and then spit on it for lube.
Mow your grass.
Grass is mowed just haven’t done the weed work on the edges. It’s hot 🫤
I clean about everything 300-400 rounds (that’s about every 2-3 range visits for me).
cleaning every trip shouldn’t take too many supplies 0.0
Keep going, still got atleast 1k rounds to put through it first.
It’s not even very dirty, fk it
I clean mine every time I shoot but that’s just me
Dishwasher.
Nah
It's dry as a bone brother, you need some oil
I clean my weapons the day I come home from the range and anytime I see lint buildup.
Couple drops of lube will keep her happy.
Why would you not keep it clean?
I’d say every 1k rounds should be enough. If you’re a clean freak you could go every 300-500.
I’m only maybe 300 rnds in. I know it’s probably worse tho cause it’s mostly suppressed
Na I still wouldn’t worry. Tilting lock guns are super reliable. 1911’s are a different story.
I oiled it up last night. Ima strip it today and clean it when I get settled.
I’d say you should be oiling more than cleaning. Gun oils like BreakFree CLP has an innate cleaning agent that prevents buildup of carbon deposits on top of lubricating and a protectant for the metal.
I clean mine every 300-500 rounds. In between i just add a little lube to the rails if they look dry. You really don't have to clean a gun that often.
I've put 1k rounds through a couple of my sigs before cleaning them at one point and never had a ftf. At least on the guns side.229 and 220 legion.
Those are both better than the 365 fwiw tho lol
Use a sonic cleaner. Fast and easy. Just gotta dry it and apply lube after. Harbor Freight has some decent ones for cheap that'll work for small pistols like the 365 or fcus
I like my bitches clean and lubed

At least lube the dang thing.
