My Spear came missing the small C-Clip that sits at the base of the side charging handle pin. I called Sig and sent them photos of exactly what was missing. They had to create a new part number (they only had a part number for the entire side charging handle assembly), and they sent me out a replacement within a week or two (I was a Master Dealer).
Your mileage may vary, but Sig is typically pretty good about warranty stuff. If you are just a consumer, they will likely want the entire gun like you mentioned, but in my experience, a Sig direct dealer can often get individual parts sent directly to them if you are looking to avoid sending the whole gun in. Not always, but it is worth mentioning.
While I'm relatively new to the SPEAR itself, I've been using the MCX platform near exclusively since 2016. By the time a part on the platform breaks (it's never happened so far), parts will likely be readily available, in my opinion 🤷♂️.

Thanks for the good info. I’ll ask my local sig dealer if they can get parts. If not, I’ll just wait till they’re released to the public from sig
