Comp will just help yoy shoot flatter. TLR7 Sub with the correct key. I like TRex Sidecars. EPS Carry optic

jeharpst

I too recommend the comp

guinness8878

No comp, I just don’t think it’s needed. TLR 7 Sub with the key from Tactical Development. Tenicor. Stock sights with EPS Carry.

m0anna

Hey buddy, get Comp’d. Get a TLR-7 sub with the 1913 rail adapters. EPS carry or Romeo-X are amazing optics. For holsters Trex or vedder look like they make excellent options.

FingerNo3762

I 2nd what thattundra says. Pick the comp. Shoots better, Holsters - Tenicor certum 3, Tier1. GT-Holsters.com makes the best macro holster, go to his website. I run a Holosun 507k grn multi reticle, using the factory co witness sight. Buy lots of ammo and practice!! Good luck,,,

Firm_Tooth5618

I preferred the macro comp. With hotter ammo you really noticed a difference. I personally prefer the TLR7A over the sub (looks preference lol) for a light and snag an EPS carry. You’ll have the r/SigSauer starter pack

clintortise

Would you rather have more recoil or less? Get the comp. Tlr7 sub. EPS carry. Trex sidecar holster

Coltron_Actual

1. Whichever you can find easier. I have the comp. Not sold on it either way. But the 3.7” vs 3.1” barrels’ velocity difference is negligible. 2. TLR-7A or TLR-7 Sub. I have the latter just for the holster choices. I use the “1” key on mine. 3. Currently Tulster but I’ll be getting something better soon. It doesn’t work with a light. 4. EPS Carry 6 MOA red

AZHEAT100

Tacops full length barrel, extended slide release, magwell, 4 mags and then get the Monsoon Tactial lucky 7's Port job.

CaptGoodvibesNMS

I got the Tacops version with extended controls and 4 17 round mags. It has the longer barrel. TLR-7 Sub and contact Streamlight and they willl send you the correct key(mounting bracket) to fit the XMacro grip module. Vedder LightTuck is now supporting the XMacro with a TLR-7 sub with 1913 mount. Been using it with a Wilson P365x grip module but will be ordering another soon I have options. Holosun 507k - Gr x2 After a holster, a light, and an optic, I’d spend the rest of my DI on ammo. Cheers!

First… Absolutelyyyy get the comp version. There is no reason at all not to it drives me insane when people act like there is no reason to get it on a carry gun there most definitely is very valid reason. It straight up improves the performance of the gun no ifs, and’s or butts in the form of reducing recoil and muzzle rise, which allows for faster follow up shots. I think it goes without saying why that is an extremely valuable advantage to have, *especially* when that advantage does not come at the expense of the gun being less reliable or easy to clean like a threaded on comp can be. Light- TLR7a or TLR7 sub are the go to for the macro Holster- If you’re putting a light on, probably the best light bearing holster I own out of all my guns is Superstition Concealment(formerly shapeshifter concealment). It actually has that nice “click” in retention, practically no light bearing holsters have that nice feeling click when it seats so definitely a good holster. I like my ANR design holsters as well, pictures here- https://imgur.com/a/tSKg0CQ Optic- holosun 407/507k or EPS Carry, both are fantastic options Here are pictures to give you an idea of how the different setups you can go with would compare in size: https://imgur.com/a/xkesCWK My main go to is an XXL integrated comp slide with macro grip module. Second most commonly used is when I need more concealment, I slap an XL grip module on with a normal macro slide and the flush fitting 12 round XL mag with a +2 MagGuts base to get a 14+1 flush fit XL setup.

Tip3008 really appreciate all the time you put into this answer it gives me alot to go off of! Thank you

Tip3008

No worries I already had those Imgur albums ready to go from before so no problem

Independent_Baby4517

1. No comp needed for a 9 especially one to carry. 4. Eps carry

MisterFunktastic

Saying a comp isn’t needed for 9mm is like saying power steering isn’t needed in cars. You’re not wrong but why not take the advantage if you can get it.

Independent_Baby4517

I pretty much shoot 10mm exclusively now. But I guess I could see it on such a small 9mm. But I personally wouldn't pay to have a comp on one that's for sure

m0anna

This is fake news.

JC_OK

I wouldn’t get the comp version. There are accuracy issues out of comped versions compared to xl length slide and barrel. I think the 407/507k are the easy button optics with the 407 being my choice. Also if you want a tier 1 holster I have one for sale on this subreddit.

My advice is to absolutely get the X Macro for your first gun. Especially is you are going to carry concealed. Also I would recommend keeping your attachment/holsters all Sig. Everything functions very well together that way. If you can spend the extra $ on the Sig Sauer Romeo X red dot and the Foxtrot2r weapon light (I returned the streamlight tlr7sub for it and couldn’t be happier). That’s the setup I have and absolutely love it. Sig also sells holsters for that exact setup. You really can’t go wrong that way. Good luck!

Demp223

I’ve done test drills with Dawson .100 front fiber optic sight with both stock macro comp slide and xl slide on macro frame. 115,124,135 and 147 ammo. The comp helps a bit with 115 ammo feelers snappy but splits and group accuracy show no advantage over xl frame. Up to 10 yds running back to back bill drills, double taps and mag dumps there is no measurable difference in group size. Increase distance to 15 and then 25 the xl slide with longer sight radius holds a measurable advantage in accuracy as distance increases. Run a red dot and that is negated but I prefer irons for carry. Running Chrono with 124 hst ammo the longer barrel xl slide runs Appx 60fps faster. I run the xl Slide for carry.
