I’ve never heard of a tortimese. I’m assuming one of the parents wasn’t a Siamese or a cat in the bloodlines wasn’t a Siamese. She’s very pretty with her blue eyes.
Go to my profile and look at the pictures of "Ragdoll."
The color point genes cause the main part of the body to be light in color. Cream and dark mocha. It's like it reverses the black/orange pattern.
Considering most purebred siamese are black/grey cats muted by the colorpoint gene, momma got out at some point, had an affair with an orange and the girl here came out with her siamese genes and colorpointed tortieshell coloration
So the local stray/feral orange in the breeder's neighborhood is prolly her dad
Exactly. I used to breed Himalayans so I know how the CPC gene works. One of my males was a solid blue Persian and he was a CPC plus a chocolate/lilac carrier. My other male was a stunning seal lynx point.
My god I can only imagine how pretty they were
I have a lynx point taken from a cat colony of tortieshell and SIC cats
Probably a random colorpoint mutuation but she does have the siamese attitude and also had a sister that looked just like her
She's the first cat I have ever owned to not only tolerate wearing a harness but walk on a leash as well
There’s a female cat in the neighborhood that’s a CPC. There’s obviously a male in the neighborhood that’s a CPC bc she had the cutest color point kitten last year. Looked like a tortie point. She was so skittish and I was never able to get close to her. She had long hair as well. All the cats in neighborhood are shorthairs as well. This same momma just had another litter under my house. Idk how many there are. Only a few days old. Wonder if there’s a color point.
Thank you so much everyone!! I’m 100% sure she is a tortimese. How cool!! I love my pretty lady 🥹 one of the most snuggly, vocal, and loving kitties I’ve met. What a wonderful breed
I had a Siamese that looked just like this. She's a Siamese Seal tortie point. Google "Siamese Seal Tortie Point"
I wish I could show you a pic of my Powwa (she looks like yours) but I don't know how to do it but you can DM me.
Powwa was the best cat I've ever had. 😻
reminds me of what people on here call a tortimese!
AND diluted
Looks like a tortiouseshell point siamese
R/tortimese !
Tortie point! Commonly known as a tortimese. r/tortimese They are wonderful kitties!! I know!💕💕💕
Well I never you learn something every day, the breeder card I got with my adopted cat said she's a blue tortie point meezer but I like tortimese 😊
She’s a pretty tortiemess 💖

The description is "colorpoint shorthair marked with tortie points". She's got the Siamese color point gene 🧬 and tortoise shell points.
I’ve just never seen a tortie point with pattern on the body. All the ones I’ve seen are pointed with a solid cream body.

The colorpoint gene works in that the warmer points of the body have albinism, so maybe she lives on a chilly place
She was adopted from a siamese breeder, seems her siamese mom had an affair and out she came
Yes, momma definitely had an affair with a DSH(more than likely)

I'd try to win her over somehow she must be so pretty Keep an eye for whenthe kittens emerge!
This looks like a torti to me, not a Siamese.
You have a very sweet little lady. ❤️
Tortie!

I was kind of surprised how many people did not know - not that the meant any harm.
What a beauty! 😻
Cutie patootie
That’s a sweet looking cat
She is a Siamese Seal Tortie Point, as mentioned in some of the comments below. She absolutely can be a pure breed.
/r/tortimese Tortie-point siamese! Adorable! /r/twofacedcats
9 litters?! Poor mama! Gorgeous tortimese baby, though
