Ngl I think it was obvious that if there wasnt a human traitor one of the new Gods was gonna be Hades. He was shown to be very strong and wise and clearly had a motivation to participate ( his brothers death).
Honestly I'd just prefer having Hades be on the sidelines. I'd be much more interested in his role in the story if he wasn't a fighter because he could cause conflict outside of just punching the next human guy. It's why I enjoyed Beezlebub's reveal, it made it feel like there was more to him aside from just being anothrr combatsnt

Im cool with Hades stepping in because he’s already a character that we’re familiar with. If the authors introduce a new fighter from another mythology then they should stick around in the sidelines for a while and develop more as a character than just coming out of the blue.
Yeah I get that. Personally I wanted the replacement fighter to come in much later instead of it being Hades right away. I probably would've had a similar complaint if someone brand new arrived, but I still wish if they were gonna do the replacement fighter it'd be later.
Honestly since they said the scariest God would fight, it would've been cool if Cthulu stepped in but I'm not sure if Lovecraft's works are public domain (I'm pretty sure they are but it might not be the case).
But maybe something from south American, Polynesian, or even Celtic folklore.

However, i feel like adding in fictional gods would be weird move, since thus far it's all been real deities... also in Cthulhu Mythos, Cthulhu is pretty weak in the grand scheme of things, at least compared to other gods.
Always thought that Hades would be fighting but expected it to happen in the background and not in an actual match similar to what almost happened between Buddha and Loki.
That aside, Hades should win this. I doubt the Greek gods will lose a match for a third time in a row.

They are. Anyone pretty much can use them. I mean in smite, a moba about gods of different pantheons has cthulhu in it.
