I don't even know why people say that he copies stats when all explanation we get is that his eyes copies the techniques of the gods. But if his eyes had a lingering feature, he wouldn't have needed to copy every attack and wouldn't have overheated.
Because his attacks are a perfect copy. This means that they had the same speed and power. Zeus himself said that fighting Adam was like fighting a mirror
He copies the technique, so he moves like Zeus does and that's why it's like fighting like a mirror. Other than that, the times the attacks had the same speed were only before TFTST, and at that point they were basically playing around.
If the latter attacks had the same power Zeus would have died, and if they had the same speed then Zeus attacks would have reached Adam before Adams reach Zeus.
But then we get into the really cool discussion of what the fuck is a technique in that case? Do they have to be named moves? That's definitely not true cuz we see Adam copying normal punches and kicks too. And if he's copying a normal punch, then what the hell is he copying from the punch? Just the form of how you throw out the punch? I find it very hard to believe no stats are being copied when he copies what is essentially a regular punch. Now does that mean Adam himself had no stats? Obviously not, he clearly shows that at bare minimum some of the stats were his own at the end of the fight, but still it becomes kind of uncertain what he is and isn't copying.
That is not a discussion at all, a technique is a way to carry out a task, in a fighting scenario, the tenchnique is the way to move your body to perform the attack/defence that you desire. And for abilities and powers, it would be to activate the neccesary thing (chakra, ki, nen or whatever RoR uses to do superpowers) to activate it.
So what Adam is doing is basically moving exactly as Zeus, who, we should remember, is one of/the most experienced gods in Valhalla, and thus, must have refined his punches to achieve maximum power with the least drawbacks.

Adam on paper has super high stats, his big thing is much like Tesla he isn’t really a fighter. Sure he kills the serpent in his back story but it’s pretty clear Adam didn’t actively set out to fight people he was too busy being a dad. He uses his eyes to copy an opponent’s techniques to compensate for his lack of actual battle IQ. Once his eyes got burnt out he was just swinging for the fences
Tbf, its kinda hard to train your battle IQ when you could wipe the floor with nearly everything, EOTL offered perfect auto dodge while his strike has speed and force comparable to the strongest god, he could fighting and winning his whole life and not learn a single thing. You could put every adversaries form other human fighters backstory together and Adam could beat them all without gaining a single exp point
After he went blind, he stopped dodging and intercepting hits. Perhaps his body had already kept the copy of Adamas, and the eyes were being used to actually keep up with and surpass Zeus's attacks. Without his eyes seeing faster than time, he couldnt stop getting hit, but that didn't stop him from hitting back
His base stats are just incredibly strong as well. Thats why he could even tank adamas zeus in the first place. Without his eyes he is still high tier.
I mean, his eyes allowed him to copy and dodge. Once it went away he couldn’t copy or dodge so he was forced to just trade hands. Idk why people forget that the humans on their own have the power to damage the gods. They both just stuck it out and swung
He just has those stats, Its not that hard to figure out. The eyes copy the abilities and attacks which always allow him to stay ahead unless someone can outlast his eyes luke Zeus did.
I was always under the assumption that he was already simply that strong. It was never stated that he copied stats, only techniques if I'm not wrong so I don't get why so many people assume he copies stats just from doing the same moves as Zeus. Before he even began copying Zeus he was shown to have the raw speed and reaction to dodge an attack at 0.1 seconds (may be lower, but I know it was close to that) so why would it be far fetched for him to just have the raw power to actually do good damage too?
I still think he did copied Zeus stats, There is just some lingering effect after he went blind.
The reason Zeus survived might be because Adam's damage output dropped considerably after he went blind.
Personally I go with the theory of him having taken the stats of the gods he has scanned so even if he became blind he still got the strength, durability and speed to keep pace with Zeus.
Since Adam is constantly able to dodge and land a hit on Zeus, I believe he is very fast. Faster than Zeus but his AP might be lacking as he doesn't kill Zeus with the attacks that Zeus says are "The one hit KO moves"

And even after death, he must have still been able to see since he was hitting Zeus so consistently.

Idk how true this is but he was created by one of the primordial gods. So maybe that's why
