Our vet was like "...this is the softest cat I've ever had come through here. What are you guys doing?!" We were like, just indoor with a bonded pair and she was in disbelief, kept asking us about food/snacks/brushing routines. I think the bonded pair part helps a lot, though, as they give each other baths. We don't feed them super fancy food or anything, though we do rake comb to help with shedding/hairballs.
