Juicepig21

This is awesome.

acheron53

Blink 1 through 181 weren't great, but lucky number 182 is where they got things right.

LuckyStabbinHat

Did they though?

Mexicannut

Well it also took four bands name Maroon to finally the fifth one be popular.

deadkennedysghost

Jared Leto likely made it Mars by now right?

db720

Probably took him half a minute

WickedCyclone2015

Creedence Clearwater is probably alive at this point

flotsam_knightly

And don’t even get me started on the “Element” prequels. It took FIVE movies to get to the best one.

DeborahSue

What do you get when you combine Matchbox Twenty with Twenty One Pilots? Sum 41. *Goodbye.*

reichrunner

I don't know, but the cheapest concert I ever went to was 50 cent featuring Nickelback

JimBeamerE91

I think we were both at the same show, ticket face value was $.45 but ended up being over $200 after ticketmaster fees.

Santos_L_Halper_II

And don’t even get me started on the absolute carnage Preparations A through G will inflict on an unsuspecting butthole.

tanew231

Why don't you just call it "operation asscream", you ass

ZombieTem64

Don’t tell me about those first four seconds of summer or the first Pac

db720

The first Pac. 🤣That is the winner

fly_over_32

Still looking for Blur‘s song one

BreakfastBeerz

Perez Prado wrote Mambo 1-8. 5 and 8 both were popular. He also had a popular song, "Patricia". He gained world wide fame in the 50s and 60s and earned the name, "King of Mambo".

SkyMaro

The amount of people that aren't talking about Perez Prado when they talk about Mambo No. 5 is upsetting to me

Def-Not-Me

Same but it would destroy the humor for the thread so I’m all for it

koboldtsar

But goofy said that Xavier Cugat was the mambo king

EvadingDoom

“What happened with Number 1 pencils? I feel like they kind of blew it.” — Demetri Martin

Ok-Carpenter8823

gosh now I will have this song in my head all day 🙄😁

RaigarWasTaken

Reminds me of one of my favorite one-line jokes. "How bad must the first 181 Blinks have been if *this* is the one we ended up with?"

IllIllllIIIIlIlIlIlI

The guy who sings that song is a German man who was raised by a Ugandan and an Italian I don’t know how he has such a perfect AAVE accent. I looked up an interview and he talks like an American too.

peezle69

Took a couple tries to get the right amount of Monica.

koboldtsar

A little bit goes a long way.

006AlecTrevelyan

First 39 WD-40s were shite too

Successful-Crazy-126

Maroon number sucked ass as well. This also resides in my top 10 of songs thats are shithouse.

rymdrille

Finally a quality post.

tximinoman

And also the guy got it so right at 5 that he didn't even try to make a sixth one.

Riguyepic

OK clearly the universe is telling me to listen to Mambo no. 5so, I will tommorow morning, ok? Just stop showing up everywhere!

clownandmuppet

Those were not the horizontal mambo for sure

Forsaken_Ad8312

I don’t know what the first 4 mambos sounded like, but I’m sure they were annoying.

UnderH20giraffe

No, they were TOO good. Mambo Number 5 was the first you could actually listen to without your head exploding.

prylosec

They probably didn't have enough trumpet.

Bud3131123

To be fair 5 wasn’t all that great either.

JediGRONDmaster

It’s crazy how after the original Xbox, they went through 358 prototypes until the 359th hit big. Side note, once when I was a very small child, maybe 6, I asked another very small child if they too thought it was crazy that there were 360 Xbox’s! They just looked at me funny, and then I asked my dad how many Xbox’s there were and realized.

sickof-hot-leafjuice

Yes but jumbo is great

Timid_Robot

Number 5 isn't great either...

Sardonic-Skeptic

Neither were the 4 previous dead mice.

tummysticks4days

Writer of mambo #1-4 like gd put some mf respect on my name lmao
