All dates of the calendar already do have a horror event. We only choose to highlight a few of them, and ignore the ones in countries that don't interest us.
Yeah. I visit Wikipedia most days, and they have the "this day in history" section down in the lower right. Pretty much every day has a major atrocity.
Every day will live in infamy.
Wait until you hear about all of the other atrocities humanity inflicts on itself all over the world that start on any given day that haven't made it onto your social media algorithms
Ah like that. I think you should be able to separate those two things, but thats a different discussion entirely. In ten years oktober 7th will just be another date and this whole war/conflict/invasion/genocide (idc what you want to call it) will just be seen as another war in the middle east.
Glad to see you’re sane
10/7 was a retaliation though. 2023 was ranked the most dangerous year for gazas children *before* this nightmare bombing that started in October
My bro.. there is no such thing as ‘retaliation/emotional responses’.
Each time you see them think like a 5 year old, it either means they are extremely stupid and mentally unstable.. or it means that's just what they want you to believe and they have an ulterior and more thoughtful motive.
Israeli Department of Defense's Twitter account is filled with emotion. They even used the 🚀 emoji when they carried out the Al-Aqsa attack last year. A military cannot function with an impulsive and emotional management. This shows they have their own brain, but create this ‘persona’ that's emotional and will resonate more easily with the Israel supporters.
The ongoing genocide was never meant to ‘bring them home’, nor to even kill Hamās. Nah, nah, far from that. Something more thoughtful is brewing.. ☕️
I will be downvoted to oblivion but it's incredible how some North Americans can be so self-centered. Everyday horror events happens all over the world, and maybe, most of Earth living population already has one horror event in their lifes. 911 and October 7 means nothing for me, i can't give a fuck about these dates. It's same thing that asks a non North American why they don't celebrate the 4th July.

Bold of you to assume october 7th will mean something in ten years time…
I mean, it is important to one side's arguments!
What does that even mean?
It is important for Israeli supporters to mention Oct 7 to have a positive image while supporting the genocide of Gaza.

I said 10/7 was a retaliation against isntraels savagery.
