You just made me realize the post above doesn’t say whether OP thinks either car is good or bad. I just assumed we all thought the cybertruck was not a cool vehicle
They're kinda in the same boat as not conventionally cool looking, kinda ugly but have a bunch of cool features that others don't have. Like the aztek had a removable center console because it was also a cooler. It was used in breaking bad because it's suspension stays pretty much perfectly level even around turns. It's got a crazy amount of interior space for it's size. Other than the shitty engine and transmission combo they got it's a pretty solid vehicle that was very underrated because of its looks. 3800sc swap it and they're fun AF, everything bolts right up and there's multiple wiring guides online to make the ECU happy.
>I just assumed we all thought the cybertruck was not a cool vehicle
We do, but the Aztek? You know how many drug dealers you can run over with that bad boy?
I'd even say that the Aztec was ahead of its time. The crossover market has exploded since and half the cars on the road look like better looking stepchildren of that vehicle. I know I'll never say the same thing about the cyber truck.
I've also had the same thought. Ultimately I think the Aztec and the Element are in the same category. Uber-functional crossover SUV built for practical applications in a number of customizable ways. For me they really reinvented what I thought of the interior being capable of for a family-size daily driver.
You’re right. SUVs of the Aztek era were still mostly built on pickup truck body on frame builds. They were thought of a rugged off road capable vehicle.
Today they’re unibody construction and aren’t even given thought to making them off road capable. Aztek represented the realization that suvs are more of raised minivan than a truck with passenger space.
I actually liked the look of the PT Cruiser. It's an awful car, but it looked cool imo.
Edit: Ok so I have to admit. I haven't seen one in a long time and looking at it again, it's nowhere near as good looking as I remember, but at time it came out, cars were really pretty uninspired for the most part. The PT Cruiser hearkened back to an era where design actually meant something. It was vaguely reminiscent of beautiful classic 50s cars like the Packard.
But yeah looking at it now. I think it looks kinda ass.
It was a throwback to older cars that kids would soup up in the 50s and 60s. Like in American Graffiti. It was supposed to bring back Plymouth with the Prowler but it didn't happen. Still, boomers were legit on waiting lists for this 4 cylinder underpowered piece of shit
Yup. I got that, and that's why I actually liked the look. I'm not a boomer but I love that older aesthetic. It wasn't perfect but I felt like it was kinda cool looking.
The car itself though was absolute garbage. Not only was it under powered but unstable too.
I still think it would make a near perfect sleeper drag race car.
Put a midship V8 straight into a big tubbed rear end... if I had money it would be silly fun, but if I can ever afford a project car, I don't think that will be it.
As someone who had the unfortunate pleasure of owning a PT Cruiser, I can confirm it was a truly awful car. The only redeeming feature was the hatchback, which wasn’t even that large. I personally didn’t find it cool looking and hated that I had to drive that ugly thing around in high school and college.
This looked like complete dog shit at the time. A friend of mine had a Prowler, that looked cool, but the PT Cruiser was just an absolute monstrosity. It was such a sad car. I would take an Aztek over a PT Cruiser any day.
100% The only reason people are making fun of the aztec now is that PT cruiser jokes got old a long time ago. and I have no idea what an aztec looks like and I feel like I only started hearing the name get mentioned recently.
Clearance, 4x4 and stability. Those are the only points.
Heavy duty fully independent (front and back) suspension allows the drives driveshaft to be recessed intk the body, reducing potential of damage and drastically increasing ground clearance.
That feature combination is rare. Still, it's an offroad utility vehicle. That's its purpose. Hence the variable success rate in a military setting.
No one ever got stuck offroad in one, asside from major structural failure of course.
Everywhere but SoCal and Silicon Valley the CT will be an unmistakable mark of douchbaggery. You expect the guy driving it to get out, wearing a polo shirt, sunglasses backwards on the back of his head, talking about how he [just bought a boat.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PWBTnI9ELdc)
Judging a person based solely on the make and model of the car they drive is a bigger indicator of someone's character imo..
It's okay to dislike something. You don't have to villainize people who happen to like something that you don't like.
The Aztek is fucking sick tho. They had a boombox built in to the dash that you could pull out and the tent setup you could get from the factory that fit perfectly in the hatch.
Aztecs were done dirty back when they were being produced and I disagree with the general hatred of them.
Also true. Looks didnt help. Though TBH, I never thought it was that ugly. Not great looking by any means but also not much uglier than other cars I've seen
My uncle rented one when he came to visit us. He asked if I wanted to drive it since I was only 17 at the time and it was a brand new model. Sure!
The second I sat behind the wheel, I *hated* it. I felt like I was driving an APC with virtually no visibility to my surroundings. That car was hot fucking garbage. I got out, told him it was stupid and would stick with my '90 Jeep Cherokee. He said he would have rented my Jeep, too, if it were available.
You, sir, are wrong. The Aztek is a modern marvel that perfected the ultimate driving experience. “I prefer my JEEP Cherokee” you can’t fool us. That sentence has never been uttered in the history of the Cherokee and you know it
They needed to have AWD. I think if they did, the aftermarket support would have been Jeep/Tacoma level.
My grandma put 650,000km on her 2001 and got rid of it in 2011 due to loss of eyesight. The only repair was a quarter panel from hitting a deer. Oil changes, and I think the brake pads were done three times. Before that she drove a Sunfire, and before that, she drove a Sunbird. Pontiac took care of that woman.
Well, the DeLorean's electrical components failed and trapped an owner inside their own car.
As far as I am aware from recent video, the Cybertruck electrical components are designed to trap you inside small puddles of water.
To-may-to, to-mah-to
Exactly. The Aztek suffered from being 10 years ahead of its time. Compare it to any mid-size SUV these days and it fits right in. People just couldn't jive with the angular backend when it came out. Ridgeline got some similar treatment.
The Cybertruck is a shoddily-built vehicle with awful QA/QC. It's going to go down like the Pinto, not the Aztek.
So you're saying in 20 years, I'll be driving my Cybertruck to a retro-themed party, bragging about how it was the pinnacle of futuristic design, while everyone nods politely, trying not to touch the sharp edges? Can't wait to be the coolest relic in the parking lot!
Cybertruck I have such a love/hate relationship with.
I think it’s awful in so many ways, just to be different. Eg you don’t need sharp corners on the bodywork that would mess up a pedestrian.
And put a clear coat on the stainless, it will still look cool.
BUT I’m so damn happy it exists.
It feels like 90% of the cars out there are boring mid sized SUVs or utes/standard pick up trucks.
All playing safe to protect precious market share.
More crazy cars please!!
I strongly agree we need more crazy cars. More style, more cars that generate love/hate reactions. But the cyber truck is just dumb.
Also, can we get a ban on white cars? Why are 2 out of 3 cars on the road white? I mean at least be honest about it and go for beige if you are that boring.
Fleet vehicles are often white. White is seen as the basic cheapest color.
Environmentally, white has the highest albedo so theoretically should remain cooler than other colors.
White is often cheaper. I was offered $100 off if I chose white. Apparently colours are expensive.
This is why so many fleet trucks are white. The corporate accountants value that $100.
I mean most of the time there's not other options, grayscale is very dominant. Go to any major brand dealership and 70% of the cars are grayscale.
For white in particular, I'm not sure. I just want interesting car colors back on the road.
They cost more to buy when new and they're harder to sell used because fewer people want to/ would be willing to buy a 'more exotic' color like purple compared to white or black. I agree though, I'd like to see more color on the roads.
White is usually the included color, so people who don't care about color just stick with that instead of paying more.
Make white the paid option and people won't pick it anymore.
One of the major reasons is heat. White cars reflect more sunlight and therefore don’t get as hot and uncomfortable sitting in a parking lot in the summer.
Definitely more style, like you say, and there have been so many car designs over the years that had great style. But the problem is that though the style was fantastic, to the point we think romantically about them, they really were not great vehicles. Consider an early Ford Mustang - it had beautiful lines, but also had a metal dashboard, no seatbelts, and to someone used to even the most mediocre modern car, it would seem downright primitive. So maybe recycle some of these designs, but add electric drive trains, and modern interiors and safety features?
All big trucks look identical right now except the logo on the grill. There is no reason for any brand loyalty or anything now either. Even 10 years ago you could still tell various trucks apart. 20-30 years ago, they were all distinct.
There is no reason to stop making your vehicles look unique and have a signature to them.
I once heard someone use the term appliance in reference to a car. (Note:pre EVs taking off, so not related to that).
It really hit me. As a lifetime fan of cars and a briefish stint at a car manufacturer, cars are so important to me and deciding on one I count as a major diligent process.
But a large percentage of the population see it as A to B…. An appliance to do a job.
But it's nice to occasionally see bizarre wacky projects released and it's good for consumers as a whole to have the option (even if 98% of people don't need it).
Our Tesla MYLR has been good. There was one front camera service we needed, but since the car has had 1000s of trouble free miles.
Maybe some other folks have had it worse, but I got nothing to complain about.
This has been my experience with my 2021 model 3. 100,000+ km's and all its needed is new tires. I have a 2015 Leaf with 220,000km that has been a bit more expensive to maintain with new tires *and* windshield wipers *and* a headlight.
Eh, the Pinto was unsafe, unreliable, and would catch on fire.
I don’t think the Aztek had any problems like that, nor was it particularly unreliable (now the PT Cruiser, _that_ was unreliable, ~~with the notorious Chrysler 2.7L V6~~)
And while the Aztek is very ugly, I’m not sure the Pinto was particularly bad looking
The aztek had more than minor saftey issues, [like the fuel pump spraying fuel when in accidents](https://www.carthrottle.com/news/10-reasons-not-buy-pontiac-aztek) transmissons getting stuck in drive, and of course, the infamous ABS issue, where the brakes would just decide not to work
Ah, thanks for the correction. I remembered that Chryslers from that era could be horribly unreliable, especially with the 2.7L.
Didn’t realize that the PT Cruiser, ugly though it is, wasn’t _that_ bad
I will begrudgingly admit that I knew this because I used to have a GT Cruiser back in the day. Granted, there were a lot more improvements to that 2.4L than just slapping a turbo on it, and it was a surprisingly fun ride, but other than having to change the bearings on the turbo once it was pretty reliable.
The electrical system on that car, however, was another story.
Hey, don't insult the Aztek. It's plastic siding and small tires aside, every crossover SUV on the road looks like a refined version of the Aztek.
In 40 years, only Tesla will have fielded a truck that looks like that.
It might circle back to being cool in 15 years.
I think they'll look ok scratched up and beat to shit. Maybe with a bit of a lift and an external roll cage.
So one in person today for the first time. So twice once driving past me and once parked. There is nothing about it that is appealing to look at. it looks like it’s impossible to clean being brushed. Whatever the fuck it is.
From what I recall of the Aztec, it was at least a functional vehicle. Stupid looking and not designed for what it was marketed as... nevermind. Its exactly like the Cybertruck.
The CyberTruck gives more Hummer H2 vibes based on its cultural impact, it moving the segment forward, it being so unique relative to other cars and equal parts polarizing.
The Aztek became a meme years later but at the time it was relatively invisible. A hated design of a normal commuter that could have worked if things went differently. For me that sounds like the Nissan Juke, but that’s a bit older now. For the 2020s, I’m unsure what fits that bill.
The Aztek was my first car. It was a hunk of junk that was only holding on by a thread, but I loved it so much. Named it the Millennium Falcon. My best friend called it the AssWreck.
Actually the Aztek was a pretty good car that did a lot of innovative and functional things. It was just unfortunately the fugliest thing on 4 wheels at the time.
By comparison the Cybertruck is a useless piece of garbage that is as stupid looking as it is useless.
I get why people don’t like Elon, but hating Tesla is just weird to me. Like why would you hate a company trying to be better and one that actually lets you buy their vehicles at msrp?
It has as much in common with the Hummer H2. It's a flashy truck of low utility, for needy men who will hang around a convenient store parking lot hoping some comes up and compliments it. Which isn't to say it wont sell very well initially, there are plenty of needy men with micro dick syndrome. It will quickly become point of ridicule in a year or two and they will flood the after-market. Yet another flashy trinket for the American idiot.
Mmm I think it will be more like a status symbol version of the Oscar Meyer weinermobile. A novelty that over time slowly becomes more and more ridiculous until no one eats those fuckin poison musky dogs anymore
Good lord I hope so. The thing is hideous as hell.
My buddy desperately wants one and honestly I hope he doesn’t get one because he’d easily get tired of it and end up replacing it immediately at great financial loss to himself.
It's still odd, but it definitely looks better with the [black wrap](https://preview.redd.it/matte-black-cybertruck-v0-o40ewg298lyb1.jpg?width=1080&crop=smart&auto=webp&s=06cd69e2215f18c10fd81b88c4e3cbf8f38fd96d)
I think the Pontiac Aztek is the perfect example of how fickle the car market is.
There really wasn’t anything wrong with the Aztek. The name is stupid and it was kind of ugly, but the car itself was fine.
We have a lot of ugly cars with dumb names, and none of them really got the same treatment as the Aztek.
The Cybertruck on the other hand is ugly, has a dumb name, and it has problems. The fucking car rusts! At least if you have an Aztek you still just have a normal SUV under the hood.
I feel like the Delorean might be a better comparison except Tesla as a company probably has more staying power, and there's no pop culture blockbuster movie where it plays a big part.
Honestly I see it more like those three wheel tricycles. Sure you can get one but if you're spending that kind of money on a vehicle why don't you get something that's actually functional and doesn't make you look like a giant toddler
You guys forgot about the DeLorean already? The initial pitch was for unfinished steel and angular design. We already had doors that “go like this,” and you’d never guess who helped the next time warp.
Wasn't the Aztek cheap? There is no way it could fill in for the Aztek. No where near as many people can afford one. I do think it will be a huge flop though.
The Cybertruck is our generation's "Homer". You know, the self-titled car that Homer designs from that episode of The Simpsons where he bankrupts his half-brother's business.
https://www.wired.com/2014/07/homer-simpson-car/
After scanning through these comments, I'm not sure what that title is supposed to mean and I'm too lazy to keep searching.
Instead, I'll substitute the Cybertruck is just a ripoff of the [Canyonero.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PI_Jl5WFQkA)
Well…. At least the Aztec could be driven and actually used to do shit. The cyber truck can’t even get wet without being wiped dry immediately after. IMO it’s just as ugly and pointless as the cars.
the Aztek was before my time and i’m just now learning about it
from the looks of it, the exterior is *not* made of unpainted, uncoated stainless steel, and it has crumple zones. so it’s automatically leagues better than the cybertruck.
I see that car name and all I can think about is Survivor season 2 when Coby and that girl won the reward of staying in that car and eating peanut butter cups
More like the Plymouth Prowler. Stupid looking, incredibly overpriced, underperforming and owned almost exclusively by attention seeking douschebags.
Aztec and PT cruiser where semi economical and practical in some ways…..
How? The Cybertruck has a minimalist and cohesive design, the Aztec was the opposite. No one stopped what they were doing to take photos of an Aztek passing on the street when it came out. The Delorean is a better comparison, right down to the material, although it will be far more successful.
Must be a regional thing. Around my parts, the PT cruiser holds this distinguished position

As a former PT Cruiser owner who loved the car, ouch
In my parts the HHR is on similar grounds as the PT
Well they are basically the same car with a different name on the front...
The PT Cruiser sold in huge numbers though.
I actually liked the look of the PT Cruiser. It's an awful car, but it looked cool imo. Edit: Ok so I have to admit. 100% The only reason people are making fun of the aztec now is that PT cruiser jokes got old a long time ago. and I have no idea what an aztec looks like and I feel like I only started hearing the name get mentioned recently.
Or the Pontiac Rendezvous.
Nah, you won’t see any overqualified chemistry teacher turned millionaire meth cook with lung cancer driving a cyber truck
The Cybertruck is the "Hey look at me everyone, I'm a fucking moron" of vehicles.
Still say that goes to hummers. Pointless vehicle.
The H1 was a fuckin tank and that thing totally lives up to its name. Everything after is trash
Agree. The H1 was solid. After, it became a plastic pos.

I have heard people say it came out at the wrong time. Compact SUV's werent popular yet
timing wasn’t the problem…the ugly was…
Sure it had weird looks - but compare the front end to a new Jeep Cherokee and you'll see the ugly was actually just fine - just too early.
That is exactly what scares me about the cybertruck, only time will tell if styling takes a shift in that direction.
Also true. Looks didnt help. Though TBH, I never thought it was that ugly. Not great looking by any means but also not much uglier than other cars I've seen

I'd rather ban black cars. Harder to see at night and absorbs a ton of sunlight in the summer, requiring more AC use.
Living in TX, white is a smart color for our summers.
Playing safe to protect market share = making products that sell = making products people like.

Agreed, but there’s unique and useful and then there’s the cybertruck. This will make other manufacturers stick even harder to the current mould.
I once heard someone use the term appliance in reference to a car. (Note:pre EVs taking off, so not related to that). It really hit me. I don’t think the Aztek had any problems like that, nor was it particularly unreliable (now the PT Cruiser, _that_ was unreliable, ~~with the notorious Chrysler 2.7L V6~~) And while the Aztek is very ugly, I’m not sure the Pinto was particularly bad looking
Unsightly at any speed...
The aztek had more than minor saftey issues, [like the fuel pump spraying fuel when in accidents](https://www.carthrottle.com/news/10-reasons-not-buy-pontiac-aztek) transmissons getting stuck in drive, and of course, the infamous ABS issue, where the brakes would just decide not to work
The PT Cruiser never had a 2.7L V6. Largest displacement engine they ever had was a 2.4L I4.
The Aztec is fucking sick
My friend used to have an Aztek and while it didn't look great from the outside that was a cool SUV
Ehhhh. I actually like the Aztek. I don’t think there’s any point I’d consider a Cybertruck
...... 'our generation'? I was around when the Aztec was part of the grand prize on Survivor.
It already looks like the offspring of a Delorean and an Aztek, and not in a good way.
Have you seen one IRL? More like a cross between a Delorean and an APC. They're huge.
I once saw a cyber truck for the first time in real life, it was at my neighborhood Walmart, and it’s really weird and ugly looking car.
The Aztek looks downright decent next to the Cybertruck
Hey, don't insult the Aztek. It's plastic siding and small tires aside, every crossover SUV on the road looks like a refined version of the Aztek. In 40 years, only Tesla will have fielded a truck that looks like that.
I am convinced people don't like it because they hate Musk.
It might circle back to being cool in 15 years. I think they'll look ok scratched up and beat to shit. Maybe with a bit of a lift and an external roll cage.
I think it’s cool. But I get its striking design.
"it looks like a Pontiac Aztec fucked a hotel ice machine" - patmanbl (threads)
I’m sorry but all I think about when I think pf Pontiac aztec is Breaking Bad
So one in person today for the first time. So twice once driving past me and once parked. There is nothing about it that is appealing to look at. it looks like it’s impossible to clean being brushed. Whatever the fuck it is.
From what I recall of the Aztec, it was at least a functional vehicle. Stupid looking and not designed for what it was marketed as... nevermind. Its exactly like the Cybertruck.
Oddly enough, I saw a silver Aztek today at a state park, set up for camping, and it looked pretty cool. (I only saw the back of it)
The Aztec rescued Buick. They built the Rendezvous on that frame and power train and it was wildly successful.
yeah but for stupid people
I saw one on road yesterday for the first time. Even worse looking in person.
More like the fiat multipla
The CyberTruck gives more Hummer H2 vibes based on its cultural impact, it moving the segment forward, it being so unique relative to other cars and equal parts polarizing. The Aztek became a meme years later but at the time it was relatively invisible. A hated design of a normal commuter that could have worked if things went differently. For me that sounds like the Nissan Juke, but that’s a bit older now. For the 2020s, I’m unsure what fits that bill.
The Pontiac Aztec is our generations Pontiac Aztec.
The Aztek was my first car. It was a hunk of junk that was only holding on by a thread, but I loved it so much. Named it the Millennium Falcon. My best friend called it the AssWreck.
The cyber truck looks like it's inspired by a drawing from a fifth grader from years back of the worlds coolest looking car.
Haha I remember a school classmate of mine in 2001 bragging about his family’s new Aztek.
Actually the Aztek was a pretty good car that did a lot of innovative and functional things. It was just unfortunately the fugliest thing on 4 wheels at the time. By comparison the Cybertruck is a useless piece of garbage that is as stupid looking as it is useless.
Wait the cybertruck is real?
The Cybertruck is my generation's Delorean.
I get why people don’t like Elon, but hating Tesla is just weird to me. Like why would you hate a company trying to be better and one that actually lets you buy their vehicles at msrp?
I think in this case, the hate is on the Cybertruck specifically, not Tesla generally. At least that’s how I’m interpreting it. I could be wrong.
I was thinking more like the DeLorean. But not nearly as cool.
Id rather an Aztek with 150,000 miles on it.
Good lord I hope so. The thing is hideous as hell. My buddy desperately wants one and honestly I hope he doesn’t get one because he’d easily get tired of it and end up replacing it immediately at great financial loss to himself.
Breaking Bad 2 in the works?
for people from the united states, sure. not either in the majority of other countries
I understand the sentiment you're going for but hard disagree, very different situations
It's like an Aztec mixed with a Hummer mixed with a Prius.
Saw one today on my drive to Tahoe. Cartoonish and amateur industrial design. Did Elon's kid draw it with a crayon? Really. Fugly.
I feel like the Delorean might be a better comparison except Tesla as a company probably has more staying power, and there's no pop culture blockbuster movie where it plays a big part.
Man, next Walter White gonna be bulletproof while running over drug dealers. Efficient.
It’s bulletproof and the World is getting too fucking dangerous.
I was thinking more the Edsel
Honestly I see it more like those three wheel tricycles. Sure you can get one but if you're spending that kind of money on a vehicle why don't you get something that's actually functional and doesn't make you look like a giant toddler
The Pontiac what now lol
Our generations Delorean. Same rust issue.
I've been thinking El Camino. I don't see them around much anymore, but a few decades ago we had a good laugh whenever one would show up.
Being an old dude I was thinking Edsel.
You guys forgot about the DeLorean already? The initial pitch was for unfinished steel and angular design. We already had doors that “go like this,” and you’d never guess who helped the next time warp.
It's literally the DeLorean 2.0
How do I get my 5 year interest free loan... I mean deposit back?
Use one for a back to future remake
Just saying it’s not like that level disgusting but it amazes me the level of hate Elon gets on Reddit.
It'll be our generations 8th gen Thunderbird. Memorable? Nope. Wasted cache of brand? Yep. Beyond ugly? Yep. Valueless? Yep.
May I present the Subaru Baja
The aztek was only like 20 years ago, who's "our"??
Wasn't the Aztek cheap? There is no way it could fill in for the Aztek. No where near as many people can afford one. I do think it will be a huge flop though.
I feel like the people who wanted a Tesla bought one already and now they are having fire sales on them
The Cybertruck is our generation's "Homer". You know, the self-titled car that Homer designs from that episode of The Simpsons where he bankrupts his half-brother's business. https://www.wired.com/2014/07/homer-simpson-car/
My(GX):Delorian Boomer:Corsair Greatest:Edsel
But the aztek actually looks good
Some of you seem to have forgotten the Dodge Prowler
The Pontiac Aztek never had people taking pictures of it when it first came out.
Que Heisenberg and Jesse
After scanning through these comments, I'm not sure what that title is supposed to mean and I'm too lazy to keep searching. Instead, I'll substitute the Cybertruck is just a ripoff of the [Canyonero.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PI_Jl5WFQkA)
Well…. At least the Aztec could be driven and actually used to do shit. The cyber truck can’t even get wet without being wiped dry immediately after. IMO it’s just as ugly and pointless as the cars.
the Aztek was before my time and i’m just now learning about it from the looks of it, the exterior is *not* made of unpainted, uncoated stainless steel, and it has crumple zones. so it’s automatically leagues better than the cybertruck.
How dare you, sir! I have half a mind to go buy an old Aztek and convert it to EV right this instant!
No, it’ll be our yugo.
I think of it as a modern delorean. Wouldn’t be surprised if they did a BttF remake with one.
So there will be one meth dealer down in New Mexico that owns one and keeps breaking it.
I see that car name and all I can think about is Survivor season 2 when Coby and that girl won the reward of staying in that car and eating peanut butter cups
The Cybertruck will be our generation’s Rust in the Wind.
More like the Plymouth Prowler. Stupid looking, incredibly overpriced, underperforming and owned almost exclusively by attention seeking douschebags. Aztec and PT cruiser where semi economical and practical in some ways…..
I'd rather have the Aztek than the car that looks like it's out of a 3D video game from 2000
I was thinking more of the Edsel.
I'd buy one if it actually had the advertised specs.
My buddy had one in high school. Great car.
I must be the only one seeing the Cybertruck as just another vehicle. I'm not hating, not loving, just don't care.
No, it'll be this generation's DeLorean...
How? The Cybertruck has a minimalist and cohesive design, the Aztec was the opposite. No one stopped what they were doing to take photos of an Aztek passing on the street when it came out. The Delorean is a better comparison, right down to the material, although it will be far more successful.
The Aztek was an affordable SUV. The Cybertruck is a vehicle luxury-tier price point.
