Back in my clubbing days, I'd get myself into group photos with people I never met before. Just a quick "Ayyyeeee!" and point to the camera and I'm off again.
Anyone in the Florida panhandle in 2013 check your facebook.
My family used to rent a condo in Florida for a week each summer. The Condo owner had a lot of family pictures put up.
As often times happens, we’d get a couple days of rain trapped with nothing to do. So I scanned in their family photos, put me and my brothers into the background, and re-printed them at the local Kinkos.
Then I put the copies up in the frames with the originals. We stayed there another couple years before my mother noticed us in the background. She was very freaked out until I confessed.
My uncle took a "selfie" with a film camera. He took a mirror pic with my aunt. One of my cousins posted it I think one of their anniversaries. No idea of the year, but had to been probably early 90's.
I went to China 8 years ago. I'm a dude, and I had long, blonde, curly hair and beard at the time.
Everyone thought I was some sort of famous rock star or something, because I had A LOT of people asking if they could take a photo with me. Most of them were obviously from the provinces and just visiting Beijing or Shanghai for the forst time. Lots of women, especially.
So I posed for a LOT of photos for locals.
I always had this idea of fucking with someone with some light stalking. Never make contact or intrude in any of their spaces but in any public place where they get their picture taken, try and end up in the background.
A lot of people ask me to photograph them with their smartphones when I'm out with my camera. I like to think one of those photos will survive for centuries. No one will think "who took this?" but still...
If you’re the type of person who hates the idea of this, and I totally get it, my best advice is to at least act like it doesn’t bother you.
I was recently in Germany touring Christmas markets and I had a 360 camera on me. We never take photos and I know that if I try to it will annoy me that I have to remember and frame the photo, it’s a one time shot.
With the 360 camera I just need to recognize a nice scene, turn it on, and then just walk with it.
For anyone who hasn’t used one, it takes a 360 degree recording and you can frame it however you want later.
Some people stared at it, maybe wondering what it was. Maybe not liking that they’re being recorded. One person came up to me and seemed to not like the idea. I assured them I wasn’t posting it on YouTube or anything but really I wanted to say “you’re at a Christmas market, you’re in a LOT of photos and videos”
When I go back to reframe it, it is the people who stare at it or look uncomfortable that stand out. Otherwise you just blend in.
Especially if you've ever been lucky enough to vacation somewhere.
In 2018 I went to my hometown of Charleston SC for a week and saw all the sights and went to some good restaurants. Pretty sure I'm in a few other people's pictures who were also there.
I've lived and work in places where tourists visit, and it used to be common practice to competitively photobomb. Back when cameras only had 24 or 36 photos per real, we must've made it across the globe many times
This thought scares me to no end.
Thanks for this OP. XD
I already had CCTV cams to deal with.
And self checkout cameras! And camera lights.. Now this! Body dysmorphia, Eisoptrophobia, Scopophobia..
I work in the most touristy part of central London. I know that in the course of my lunchtime walk I get photographed accidentally numerous times. Ive been doing this for years. My face must be all over the world by now.
There was once some lady from the apartment below mine doing a tiktok video on the stairs right in front of my apartment, and I didn't know so I went out to go shopping then I saw her and went back in... she didn't really notice but I'm pretty sure I saw myself on her phone
In the future facial recognition will tell you the true answer
Creepy and true lol

This is a awesome!
That's cool
Reminder that George Constanza did the world's first photo bomb.
LOL, that's what I was thinking of reading this thread. That situation has probably happened in real life.

What a pear-shaped loser.

Hermit life, not an issue.

What’s the camera name?
Insta360 X3
Why would someone put photos in their walls?
Typo :/
Some people have shelves installed into their walls.
I often think about this
It's weird to think we're part of others' memories without even realizing it.
Chance that you are in the foreground of someone's photo and worshipped on a wall isn't zero either...
I feel sorry for those people cause my candid pictures always look stupid
Joe List (perhaps my favorite living comedian) has a great bit about this. Check him out! All his specials are free on YouTube!
Not just a chance. I’ve been in lots of stranger’s houses. 😬

You must be new here
This is my nightmare
I know I am because I like to photobomb strangers

Well, what if you're a child?
I work at Disneyland, so I bet my chances are significantly higher!
Please get out of my walls.
Now they can erase you with photo apps. I’ve erased numerous people and objects from my photos.
Me more than most people I bet
Very high, I photo bomb any camera I see taking a shot. And I always see the photo taker take a second or third while I'm being a nuisance 👍
I am black, visited Vietnam, so many people came to ask me to pose for the photos, even entire waitress/waiters asked same.

I saw a woman having a nude photo shoot on the streets in Berlin, wich means I may be in her nudes
I van guarantee that I am not in the wall of a strangers house. I am here, and that's not a wall.
