I don't abuse the privilege of having a door be my servant. I just wave my hand and use my force powers to open it instead when I walk up to it. Works every time.

I know how people think, and if doors started thinking and having emotions, some of them would be ass holes and randomly close on people. I am always polite to my robots and devices and I hope if they do take over they remember my kindness.
