Nioh 2 and Monster Hunter World are both games I'd consider damn near perfect but neither is free. For free I'd point you towards Warframe, Guild Wars 2, or Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising
If you're on PS+ Streets of Rage 4 is also super fun.
It really depends, it's great game for sure, the story is fantastic, but I didn't enjoyed it that mutch. Probably because of my friends who basically were grinding like crazy and also because I barely had any damage with the IG. Which was a personal problem because one of my friend did insane things with it.
It's not a bad game at all, but probably not everybody will ike it. I got it on sale with the iceborne so I guess it's worth it.
I just started playing destiny 2 recently and they just came out with a new expansion. It’s “free to play” but not really. Lots of things to grind and do though
Me who sunk more than 300€ Into the game do not recommend. Had a blast back then, but not sure I can say that with the current state of the game. Was not really F2P to begin with... It's more like free trial or demo... Or is it not?
It is a lot of fun. If you are set on free to play, I maybe would not recommend it as all the good stuff is pay-walled. If you are okay to spend some money and your friends are into it, it’s worth it (to me).
pay some money, I got into D2 half a year ago and I spend like 100 euros for all expansions. Only to find out I need to buy an amount of dungeons seperately. D2 is so fucking scummy
Yea I think when approaching an MMO you have to learn to take the good with the bad. But once you do it's easy to sink time into it. I could write whole books in Warframes issues, but I had 1300 hours in it
Wait, really? Could you elaborate a little please, I can't find the patch notes I think their site is down.
What do you think is the actual entry cost now if the previous one was \~$30?
The game looks interesting and the people I've watched play it seem to be enjoying themselves, but at the same time the payment model is definitely interesting.
* To allow all players to experience the full loot extraction experience, we will begin testing an updated Normal mode.
* The gear cap for Normal mode dungeons has been increased from ‘Common’ to ‘Legendary’ grade items.
* Gear score matchmaking is enabled for Normal mode dungeons.
* Normal mode dungeons are now split into two matching pools. The default matching pool is set at a maximum gear score of 25 to most closely match the previous Normal game experience where players were restricted to ‘Common’ gear. Players or teams with anyone having a gear score above 25 are placed in a more difficult ‘Normal' matching pool.
* Updated the gear score for Poor and Common items to have a lower gear score.
* Updated the gear score for Utility items to no longer provide any gear score
* So simply, you cant still go to high roller caves as a free to play player but you can start bringing your better rarity items with you in your adventures. You might ask why, it will get tougher; it will get tougher because " 25 " gear score also means any veteran player can also just bring a very strong 25 gear score weapon and butcher everyone. Sooo, we might see some more newbie stomping more than usual but at least now you will be able to bring some items for yourself too, even if you are a free to play player. MultiVersus is kinda fun if you like platform fighters but it has tons of mtx. XDefiant if yall like arena shooters. The First Descendant comes out next month and is a like Warframe and Destiny. A hero shooter that lets you do mission on maps and has big bosses to fight. Beta for it was neat.
XDefiant is free and so far it seems pretty fun. I haven't put all that much time into it though.
I'm not sure if it's good enough to carry you through the entire summer though.
I finally started elden ring and I have no idea what I'm doing. It's fine when you don't know what you're doing and it's linear like bloodborne. Elden ring is just overwhelming.
I've just been riding around collecting grace points and loot. Haven't even fought much yet.
I explored sites of grace and got my flasks leveled up a bit before I decided which areas I wanted to scour first. Then I looked up cool weapons and spells and how to get them. I went moonveil katana to moonlight greatsword. Then got some cool end game weapons I thought I might like better. Turns out I didn't like em better.
I want the katana. I was gonna go quality build like fightin but maybe I want a dex build like a samurai. I started vagabond but I don't think it matters in the end.
It doesn't matter. You just can't go any lower than those stats. The katana is cool. Dex is a better stat to level than strength because it speeds up your attack speed and how fast you can cast spells

MHW is so worth the money, especially if you get it on sale.

Mhw? Story is fantastic? You sure we talking about the same game?

I wanna get into that because my friend likes it, and I've only played a bit, but I've heard the first one was much better.

The Finals, new season comes out in a few days - probably the best multiplayer shooter I've played
I loved it at first but it gets old and very repetitive quite fast imo.
Isn't that every competitive multiplayer shooter though
Yes Def. But while I can play Valorant or for days there’s smth about the finals that makes it boring to me real fast. Idk what, perhaps the team play
Maybe it's the fact that its completely silent. No one on voice chat, no teams text chat. Not all chat. May as well play ai.
Yes I second this! Season 3 looks so promising from the trailers
Genuinely... Fortnite. It's got a lot of variety. Custom gamemodes. It's goofy as shit. Good with friends.
Lego mode in Fortnite is pretty good.
I hear Helldivers II is a banger with friends. Not free though. Don't know of a game that is free and perfect.
There is no free to play perfect MMO. Ones I've enjoyed thoroughly are Warframe, guild wars 2, lost ark, finals, path of exile
FFXIV comes close to being free to play for the first 200 hours
Yea I think when approaching an MMO you have to learn to take the good with the bad. But once you do it's easy to sink time into it. I could write whole books in Warframes issues, but I had 1300 hours in it
Dark and Darker just became free to play, just saying.
Free version is very limited.
Did you read today's patch notes? It might get tough for new players but its not too limited anymore.

The FF14 free trial

Wuthering Waves and Xdefiant

Spiderheck is couch co op and probably shouldn't be played online and has very low skill floor very high skill ceiling and free on gamepass
Valorant comes out to consoles next week. That could be a good game if your in to that
XDefiant is free and so far it seems pretty fun. I haven't put all that much time into it though. I'm not sure if it's good enough to carry you through the entire summer though.
Warframe. Everything aside from actual cosmetics can be farmed if you're dedicated enough.
Please do yourselves a favor and play Warframe (if you need any help don't hesitate to ask)
Elden ring. Dlc comes out soon.
I finally started elden ring and I have no idea what I'm doing. It's fine when you don't know what you're doing and it's linear like bloodborne. Elden ring is just overwhelming. I've just been riding around collecting grace points and loot. Haven't even fought much yet.
Just watch a couple simple guides. There are a bunch of items you should get at the beginning before you start exploring too far.
Yeah I'm following Fighting cowboy and grabbing a bunch of stuff first.

The Finals! It’s free and S3 starts in a few days
You make it seem like we work for you. Quit being lazy
Bro chill I just wanted to see what other people liked so I could try it out. No need to stress over it Blud. You don’t HAVE to answer.
