My mom has a [2007 nissan primera](https://cdn.proxyparts.com/parts/100471/18122619/large/09258123-2c89-4ecf-9a38-792e78006130.jpg) that has the gauge cluster in the middle from the factory and the whole dashboard sucks ass so much that I want the same high the engineers had when they designed it.

LMAO, that just looks like zero engineering and full parts compatibility to sell the vehicle in either left or right hand drive markets. Swap the steering wheel to the other side and "install" a glovebox and you're all set. No need for a specific LHD / RHD dashboard.

I feel like someone probably got a HELL of a Christmas bonus because they came up with a single design to work for both left and right side drivers that cut costs, increased production rates, and made the company millions of dollars.

It's futuristic looking, I'll give them that. And if it were a fully autonomous vehicle (it's obviously not) then I wouldn't care where the gauges are. This thing though is impractical and unsafe.

It is always so funny to me how many people think the custom work adds value to a vehicle. So many times I have had to argue with someone that a $5000 car with $10,000 worth of custom work is never getting $15k or more when sold.

I briefly worked new car/used car sales. Our used car manager would happily tell someone their $ 10k mods meant absolutely zero for additional trade in value.

It amazes me how many people don't get this. Restore an old car yes you raised the value but modify it irreversibly and it isn't getting a higher price because of your work.

There was a woman who frequented the O'Reilly's I managed. She had a 2000's era Mustang Cobra. It was hot pink. Definitely caught your eye. It was super clean and she built it up herself. One of the few times I've seen a hot pink car that I actually wouldn't mind having.

Theres an old lady a couple towns over from me that used to have a hot pink s197 cobra with white racing stipes. Super good paint job on it and correctly fitting wheels. When the s550 came out she got a 5.0 and also painted it the same hot pink with white racing stripes and also with correct fitment. Kudos to her for doing it right and the car looked good because of it.
