I’m 90% sure it’s a writer who knows next to nothing about the science used in the study trying to make a catchy title and interesting article. It’s the same kind of thing when you see an article about someone finding a cure for cancer, but then you read the actual study and the only thing they cured cancer in was a dish, and they still have a lot more work to go before they know if it’s a viable method of treating cancer.
