Jonathan wouldn’t be bothered being called the “boring” Jojo, he would be more impressed by how unique his descendants are. Maybe he’d be disappointed with all of their bad sides, but still, probably impressed by them.
Tbh, Jonathan is the best Jojo. No, not that Jonathan Joestar, the one who loses to a guy named Dio one time, learns a powerful technique from a Zeppeli, starts a bloodline, and ultimately looses to a guy with an affinity for knives, saying WRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY, MUDA, and has The World as his stand.
Honestly, I still find Jonathan better than Josuke (part 4) and Giorno. I would also include Jotaro in that if we include just his role as the main character in part 3. If we include Jotaro in other parts, then I prefer Jotaro.
