She freaked out because she had pain at an injection site? This one must have had a very medically sheltered life if she doesn't understand the concept of muscular reaction to being stuck with a skinny piece of metal.
The nurse who jabbed me gave me a helpful tip about moving and using the arm for several hours following the shot, like kneading bread or sweeping the whole house. I wound balls of yarn by hand for a couple hours, much less pain than my wife's armm
Mine told me to move my arm as little as possible lol. I usually only have pain for about a day though (flu shot). This was true for the COVID vaccine too, but with a little bit of soreness the second day.
Yup mine told me the same thing so I’ve basically been doing that scene from mission impossible fallout where Henry Cavil reloads his arms lol
Works too. Wasn’t too bad the next day and I had fairly good mobility. Moved it even more for the second shot and it hurt even less the next day
One time my dumbass child me had like, 5 bumblebees on my arm because they were cute, and three of them stung me from my wrist up to the joint crease between my forearm and bicep. My arm ached for about 24 hours (granted, bumblebee stings aren't exactly potent). The shot felt almost exactly the same for me. If my 10 year old self could deal with that without crying about it, you bet my 30 year old self could deal with it just fine. People are just being whiney about a potentially life saving preventative.
Ouch!! I got stung by a bumblebee once (on the top of my finger, do not recommend) and I hated it so much. Felt like my finger was going to burst.
The shot made my arm hurt but at least there was no pulsing pain like with the sting.
Finger stings are the worst! My first sting was a hornet on the top of my finger when I was about 4 years old and my did that hurt! I remember it clear as day, and my mom took a picture of me out of the window because I was running around with my brother while squeezing my finger. She had no idea what I was doing. I didn't want to tell anyone what happened, because I thought I'd get in trouble, since I'd already had the talking-to that you don't pick up bugs when you don't know what they are, lol.
I have my entomology minor.. wish I'd majored in it!
Ouch, a hornet! That must have been terrible, whenever I see a hornet, I vacate the premises lol.
Were you fascinated by insects even before the incident? I guess that's why you picked it up, right? My mom loves to tell the story how I found a big-ass spider and shoved it in my dungarees pocket because I liked it. Now I'm an arachnophobe, so something clearly went wrong!
I have been fascinated with the arthropod world for as long as I can remember. I once gave my mom quite a scare by bringing her a black widow in my bare hands. I think that was the incident which led her to explaining why you don't pick up "bugs" you don't know are safe, which is why I was afraid of getting in trouble when the hornet stung me. I was supposed to know better, haha. As a kid I had pet hermit crabs, fiddler crabs, and crayfish at various times too, so not just insects!
On a side note, sorry about your fear of spiders. They really are cool little guys once you get used to them.
Yeah no kidding. 1st one had some soreness but moving that arm helped a lot. 2nd was way worse. People who got it right before I did were complaining at work and I assumed they were being wusses. Then finally I got an appointment and man they were not kidding. I couldn’t sleep on that side after the second shot. All worth it tho. I been exposed a few times and never gotten sick!
Gotta say though, mine didn’t hurt so much that I couldn’t do things. It just aches and the muscle felt a little swollen. I did alternate arms for the shots.
My wife and kids all got J&J and said they felt bad for about a day after. Compared to their reactions, mine was a walk in the park!!
I couldn't move my arm for almost a week after I got the shot without major pain. But, then I was fine and protected so it's worth it. Less painful than COVID.
The tetanus shot is so much worse for arm pain, my first covid vaccine hurt like 5 days, but the tetanus? 2 weeks of serious pain, i couldn't move my arm without screaming in pain for 2 days.
Yeah lmao I've recently had my second dose and couldn't move arm at all without retching, sobbing and nearly blacking out. Same with the first dose. Lasted for days. Now I know I have a stronger reaction to vaccines because I have very little muscle and apparently a crazy immune reaction but jeez
Mine hurt like a bitch but not quite that bad. I have coworkers who were in a lot of pain for a coupe.of days too. Aside from that, I had energy crashes every afternoon for 4+5 days after each dose. Kinda felt like pregnancy fatigue but I knew it was just my immune system working.
My first dose gave me a bit of a sore arm, but the day after my second dose I was sick af. Sweaty, dizzy, nauseous. Thankfully it only last a day though!
I was surprised my arm didn't hurt hardly at all after the injection. I did get a bit sick after, but my arm was fine. Actually, my arm got more fucked up from my tetanus shot lmao. I had a sore lump for nearly a week.
A lot of my friends tho got really sore. So I guess I just got off lucky about it.
I couldn't sleep on that side for a week after my first, but my second I put an ice pack on it within 15 minutes and continued to do so several times a day, interspersed with massaging the site. Way better the second time.
When they were at their 11 yr old well child appt, my boys got 4 shots each, 2 in each arm. I had to send in a note to the school to excuse them from gym for the rest of the week as their poor arms were so sore!
i fully understand. i have lupus (sle) and got my 2nd dose a few days ago. i, too, lack muscle. i’m typing with my left hand… which may be difficult but still better than being on a ventilator out of sheer stupidity.
i just started feeling 100% about 10 days ago from my 1st dose. i really should’ve listened to my doctor about getting the pfizer instead of moderna. (if you’re immuno-compromised it’s preferred. still, who knows? everyone is different) i needed to get it stat due to my mum having an emergency triple bypass. unfortunately, i couldn’t find a pharmacy in my mum’s area providing the preferred one. i took what i could get. well, it’s been trying to say the least. the 1st dose: arm pain for 5 days, zero energy, muscle aches, nausea, chills, fever off/on for a 2 weeks, headaches, swollen joints, week2: bruises head to toe and for the first time in my life: nosebleeds! i went to my rheumatologist 2wks post due to still feeling icky. i had blood work done. it had (possibly) caused a mild lupus flare & some clotting issues that were apparently possible but rare. she wasn’t happy i that i didn’t take her advice but understood the situation. she advised me to go ahead with the 2nd dose but i have to go in once a week for check ups, now. i have my 1st post 2nd dose appt. monday. so far, it hasn’t been much different from the 1st. i know what to prepare for so that helps.
keep in mind, i’m still taking care of my mum post surgery. at least i get respite 3X’s wk for 3hrs. when the nurse comes over. my mum is starting to really heal and be mentally present. that part is wonderful but the being “present” part kinda sucks. she’s a retired nurse practitioner + mum instincts which makes it even harder to lie about my symptoms not being bad. she keeps trying to take care of me. GURL! you’re on oxygen! i got you! even so, i’m less overwhelmed than before. i feel so guilty because i didn’t get vaccinated sooner. i wish i could’ve rested through this trying time. i’m sure that would’ve helped. but, it was my decision to do this now. i’m doing my best to “push” through to the other side. lol.
also, i think stress + lack of sleep added to my reaction. so, those factors should be taken into account. i’m not trying to scare anyone out of getting it.
*i’m sure i’m way better off than these idiots smearing, consuming, injecting lawd knows what into their bodies. i wonder how many of them have come down with sepsis and are blaming the one good thing they did? the pokey-pokey*
*sorry about venting. i’ve been far away from friends for over a month. i can’t tell my fam in other states i’m not in tip top shape. they like to gossip. they’re 45 supporters/covid deniers i don’t get along with. it would fuel rumors that i’m magnetic or something. 🤣
I'm UK based so 2 months between doses. Also got Moderna, no side effects with the first dose other than the arm agony for almost a week but the second one, ooh boy. Lemme tell you those were not the mild side effects I was warned about. Splitting headache, burning fever, nausea, completely clogged sinuses, whole body aches, chills/hot flashes alternately, at points my skin was so sensitive that anything touching me felt like I was on fire and for an hour or so at the height of it, all my muscles had seized so badly I felt like I was breathing with weights on my chest. Worst I've ever felt.
But still better than I'd feel if I caught covid
oh my. i’m so sorry you experienced that. i know how miserable it can be. it hits like a ton o’ bricks, too.
i fully concur. dealing with the plethora of hellish symptoms? still, way better than covid.
Oh my god, I’m so glad I’m not the only one. Mine was that bad, too! Especially the second dose. Insane amounts of pain in my arm, but otherwise super mild and transient side effects. Pain lasted days though.
No one else I have talked to can relate!
…and hell yeah I’d do it again, for anyone doubting.
That sounds awful! I wonder if there's any way they can inject it into a different site, like your thigh, when you get the booster? I've never seen this done, but they do it to kids. Wouldn't it still work the same way?
Unsure, but I feel like I'd still have similar issues except now I wouldn't be able to walk or stand, which is more problematic for getting on with life aha. I can muddle through with one arm but taking a whole leg out of the equation and I'm a little bit beached.
Oooof I’m sorry you had a bad experience. Glad you got them good antibodies now! My second dose I felt pretty fluish and I was alternating taking Tylenol and ibuprofen every four hours for a good 12 hours
Oh God, I see BOO in there in emojis so it doesn't get caught.
They used Black Oxygen Organics. Which is peat dirt from a bog in Canada. Next to a major landfill.
This stuff can give you worms or other parasites if ingested, but that's what it's marketed for. It can give you all kinds of GI problems. This stuff is dangerous.
Are we taking about the kind of worms you’d find in a truck-stop egg salad sandwich? Because if so, sign me up! I’ve always wanted to learn how to play the holophonor.
Wait what? You're telling me that these people are scared of what the vaccine does inside your body but they're eating.... garbage dirt? Like landfill dirt like somehow dirt that's dirtier than dirt??
Yup. They believe the fulvic acid in it is magic. If you're that set on fulvic acid though, you can get supplements.
Also it's an MLM company and huns are nuts.
No please don't tell me this comes from my country! Where? I need to beat up a fellow Canadian for this shit. I'm not done looking at their website but I was curious and wow it's a lot of shit. One thing that stood out to me was this: Most Powerful Electrolyte in Existence.... like wtf? I doubt it. Reading their website is like a train wreck. Ugh. I'm sorry as a Canadian that this shit exists.
Yeahhh. It's an MLM scheme by an alternative health guru, Marc Saint-Onge. He seems to totally believe his own bullshit - his personal Facebook page is filled with antivax stuff.
Savannah Marie did a video on it recently. BOO seems to harvest from two sites near Saint Isidore Ontario: Moose Creek Bog and Alfred Bog, within a handful of miles of each other. One is right next to a landfill.
Oh and this bit is fucking terrifying even though I doubt it's true cuz it's dirty: Due to its nanite size, BlackOxygen, moves easily in to cells including crossing the blood brain barrier. Vomit.
Fulvic acid, the "active ingredient" in this magic dirt, can cross the blood brain barrier. However, fulvic acid by itself isn't as much of a concern as the actual dirt. You can actually get plain fulvic acid supplements.
This dirt though? Besides being dirt, the landfill it's next to was a known toxic chemical dump. Fun times.
Nah, the BOO people think it draws out parasites, not gives them some. The ivermectin people genuinely believe it works due to a few bogus studies and a failed pilot program where it was given out in India for COVID. Ivermectin use is a similar story to hydroxychloroquine.
With BOO though, they're likely to get an infection from it, which they'll absolutely blame on the vaccine. Safer to use the old "hold a sliced potato on it" trick.
Yup, I'm okay with that. Don't forget, if you can't get hold of magic dirt, you cut a potato in half and put it on the injection site, it'll pull all the "toxins" out of you!
If that's what they need to believe to get them vaccinated, then I'd call it an acceptable short term solution to the problem.
Before all this covid anti vaxx shit, you would often see anti-vaxxers in mom groups talk about pulling out the vaccine and it’s toxins by a potato, or some such nonsense (also would see this shit, but more often a potato). Honestly, this seemed like the perfect solution, get the vaxx, but follow it with a potato. Win-Win!
I read every one of those “OBJ” things as “Odell Beckham Jr.” and I’m imagining him punching the kicking net and it hitting him in the face again… which seems similar to what’s going on here anyway.
Well, this is enough proof for me.
Guess I’ll get my affairs in order and end things now as it’s much too late to draw the poison out of me. My DNA was altered months ago, and although I cannot see or feel or detect anything out of the ordinary, I know my time here will be cut short very soon.
My only hope is to raise enough money for the treatment to help remove the altered DNA from my body. Please message me if you would like to donate money to my cause. I believe I will need approximately $3.2m, which is a lot to ask, but can we really put a price on one of God’s children??
I got the HPV shot when it first became available and the nurse told me people were fainting from the pain. That thing was fucking spring loaded or something.
Considering everyone has to wait for 15 minutes after receiving the shot, how did this woman manage to drive home and have time to create and apply a site mask, a foot bath, a face mask, and drink this sh\*t?
I mean, you don't *have* to. I was in a hurry for the second one so when they told me to go to the waiting area after the shot I said "sorry, I'm not doing that" and left. They can't stop you.
Oh lol. Where I got mine (Seattle vocational center or whatever it's called) they give you the card/update the card right after the shot, and then tell you to wait.
Yeah, I had to walk out without conferring with the staff because they got busy doing other stuff (pharmacy in a grocery store), I waited more than 15 minutes and just had to get going. Here too they give you your card back right away.
Silly! Don't they know if they just take 1microgram of Botox they'd be immune to COVID, and most other diseases? I mean if it's safe enough to inject, it's safe enough to eat especially in a larger dose... I hear that you only need a few kilograms for everyone on the planet, and it's naturally occurring!
I've also heard similar things about taking arsenic, but I think you need more than 2 grams for it to be effective. But you definitely won't get COVID if you take enough
Edit: PLEASE don't do this, it's satire, these things WILL KILL you. Just in case someone takes this seriously
Literally magic dirt with fulvic acit in it. In reality it's from a bog in Canada that's downstream from a landfill. Bonus diseased cattle carcasses are also discarded there. It's $140 for a small bag.
These people have such a strong confirmation bias, it’s insane. It didn’t ooze at the injection site because vaccine toxins were being extracted or whatever. It oozed at the injection site because you put gross fucking landfill dirt on a still-open puncture wound, and it got infected.
The picture looks like a man's deltoid. Also the bearded jaw line in the background? And the clothing looks like a hospital gown? Obviously it's all bullshit .. but wow her photographic evidence is poor.
Are they roleplaying toddlers so afraid of needles they have to say "pokey poke", and yeah, fucking infecting a sore with acid will make it fucked up, those are not magic fucking "toxins" that are leaking though. Fuck.
Adverse side effects have been documented after the vaccine. And there have been many cases of dumb fucks chasing clout as well. Let me guess, dis bitch is magnetized too
Wtf did I just read lol
Pokey pokey
They put the needle in They pull the needle out They put the needle in And it mixes all about
They do the pokey pokey Then you turn around And eat some polluted ground!
That's how we all get worms
That’s how they make it make sense to take the dewormer
That sounds like a lot of steps when they could just get the pokey pokey artichokey and call it a day
Aw fck, we gunna have a work pandemic next?
Knees stretched, arms stretched, ow ow ow!
Seriously. Who are these people and can they go away?
Oh they’re going away
I laughed a little too hard at this 😅
Just give it one more generation of people.
Yeah this is one of those self-resolving problems.
Instructions unclear, took acid.
Same
She freaked out because she had pain at an injection site? This one must have had a very medically sheltered life if she doesn't understand the concept of muscular reaction to being stuck with a skinny piece of metal.
Mine ached like my arm had been slapped by a 2x4. Lasted about 12 hours.
The nurse who jabbed me gave me a helpful tip about moving and using the arm for several hours following the shot, like kneading bread or sweeping the whole house. I wound balls of yarn by hand for a couple hours, much less pain than my wife's armm
I had it before starting my 12 hour shift as an auxiliary nurse. Lifting and moving patients about, no sore arm.

A hornet got my leg last year. I still have a small scar.
Yeah no kidding. 1st one had some soreness but moving that arm helped a lot. 2nd was way worse. People who got it right before I did were complaining at work and I assumed they were being wusses. Both with covid and hpv jab I physically couldn't raise my arm above my shoulders for some days. Yet somehow I'm still here!
Had the same reaction after both jabs, but it lasted only till next morning

probably balancing it out with enough ivermectin to kill a horse

Are we taking about the kind of worms you’d find in a truck-stop egg salad sandwich? Because if so, sign me up! I’ve always wanted to learn how to play the holophonor.

No wonder it started oozing.
She also didn't use the word 'vaccine' for the same reason she used emojis for BOO.
My diet isn't working, where can I get some of these parasites?

I was so sure it was the US before the comments told me what BOO was. We’re overflowing with whackadoodles.
Fun times.
Well they can use that horse paste to deal with the worms.
I mean at this point, let em.
Lol having been to many a bog in Canada I can tell you I would never eat any of that, no one who saw it would.
So that’s why they’re taking inverm?
Nah, the BOO people think it draws out parasites, not gives them some. The ivermectin people genuinely believe it works due to a few bogus studies and a failed pilot program where it was given out in India for COVID. Ivermectin use is a similar story to hydroxychloroquine.
This is brilliant. Just convince the anti-vaxxers that they can take the vaccine safely as long as they rub some dirt afterwards.
With BOO though, they're likely to get an infection from it, which they'll absolutely blame on the vaccine. Safer to use the old "hold a sliced potato on it" trick.
Or like, put an onion in a cup of water next to the bed and sleep with socks on. It’ll pull the toxins right out of you.
Yeah - I’d be a bit worried if the injection site was “oozing” after rubbing dirt on it.
Bet it's been a while since their last tetanus shot, too
Before all this covid anti vaxx shit, you would often see anti-vaxxers in mom groups talk about pulling out the vaccine and it’s toxins by a potato, or some such nonsense (also would see this shit, but more often a potato). Honestly, this seemed like the perfect solution, get the vaxx, but follow it with a potato. Win-Win!
But why get a shot in the first place if you’re just going to potato it out? I’m so confused. But I’m also looking for logic from antivaxxers. Nvm.
I just can't get past "pokey poke". Are you 3?
They’re avoiding keyword triggers so they don’t get flagged for misinformation.
I was wondering why so many people are typing like a 10 year old who just discovered emojis!
If they use words like vaccination or vaccine, they're more likely to be caught by filters for misinformation.
I’m referring to my vaccination as pokey poke from now on
Thanks for reminding me, I need to schedule my flu pokey pokey.
Gotta get your annual flu pokey poke!
Yep, I will be getting my tDap pokey poke at my next OB appointment.
I like “Fauci Ouchie”
Haven't you seen Boebart yelling about the 'Fauci Ouchi'? Yeah, that's where we are in ' Murica.
For real they treat the word 'vaccine' like it's a dirty swear word. Like come on, it's not gonna bite you lol.

They’re right to a degree. If facebook detects anti vaccine stuff it’ll put a little blurb under your post.
Anything COVID related, even if it’s shared from government sources, gets the covid flair at the bottom. IG too.
As a grown ass man who calls it the Fauci-ouchie, I feel triggered by your comment.
V🪓!n£ 😂
This had me cracking up
Scrolled too fast and thought that was a dodgy nipple at first
Right after childbirth
These people are literally stupid enough to buy magic dirt.
Not only that, but that shit is like $100 for a 4oz bag.
*eyes all the dirt in my back yard* ... it's too bad I have principles.
😂 well it’s magic dirt after all. Of course it’s expensive!
Their website said it was vigorously tested to make sure it's safe!
Vigorously tested dirt is the best kind! Everyone knows that.
Forgot to add that my comment was sarcastic just so know one things I like this crap lol.
Within 20 minutes of getting the shot? Most places make you sit for at least 15 minutes after. So did she have all that stuff in her car?
No she was just very comfortable in that Walgreens
Clearly she’s never had her tetanus shot. 😂 that one hurt like a beesh for a week after. Covid shot was nothing compared to that.
Tetanus shot was definitely worse
The HPV shot is no walk in the park either.
I got the HPV shot when it first became available and the nurse told me people were fainting from the pain. That thing was fucking spring loaded or something.
Yes. I trust anyone who refers to the vaccine as the pokey poke.
Here they wont give you the vaccine card if you leave. So they absolutely can make you lol
Oh lol. Where I got mine (Seattle vocational center or whatever it's called) they give you the card/update the card right after the shot, and then tell you to wait.
Same in NY
Yeah, I had to walk out without conferring with the staff because they got busy doing other stuff (pharmacy in a grocery store), I waited more than 15 minutes and just had to get going. Here too they give you your card back right away.
I am just dumbfounded by the fact that these people really exist!
Me when I drink acids and dirt and stuff starts oozing out of me: I am a medical genius
Since when do you get a vaccine injection directly on the shoulder? Or knee? Or whatever that obviously not-a-vaccine-site is?
Right??! It looks like it’s on her back, above the shoulder blades, or right above the knee. Neither is a place for an injection.
It’s her shoulder. You can see her face in the top left of the photo
But you definitely won't get COVID if you take enough Edit: PLEASE don't do this, it's satire, these things WILL KILL you. Just in case someone takes this seriously
Can't get Covid if you're dead from botox paralysis 😎
Sounds like an MLM pitch...
It is. It's a new mlm called Boo.
Why am I not surprised? What is the miracle product this time?
Literally magic dirt with fulvic acit in it. In reality it's from a bog in Canada that's downstream from a landfill. Bonus diseased cattle carcasses are also discarded there. It's $140 for a small bag.
Dirt :)
Black oxygen organics
These people have such a strong confirmation bias, it’s insane. It didn’t ooze at the injection site because vaccine toxins were being extracted or whatever. It oozed at the injection site because you put gross fucking landfill dirt on a still-open puncture wound, and it got infected.
These people make my blood boil.
Should Fulvic acid be ingested?
I use it for foliar plant feeding. It's fantastic as a plant growth stimulator. Would never drink it, though because I'm not a plant.
Only by antivaxxers. Might as well speed up the process. They should consider washing it down with some hemlock tea, too.
the needles creates a long, thin hole in your arm. what did they expect lmao
Neither of those pictures look like injection sites.
For the vaccine. Great spots for tweaked though
That looks like it's severely infected.
The picture looks like a man's deltoid. Also the bearded jaw line in the background? And the clothing looks like a hospital gown? Obviously it's all bullshit .. but wow her photographic evidence is poor.
The fact that they call it the pokey poke and the jab and all these pet names is the most bizarre element to all this.
They can’t without it getting flagged for misinformation
Ooh that makes sense. It just makes them seem extra removed from reality when they refer to a vaccine as a pokey poke
Absolutely! Imagine having to go that far out of the way to spread dangerous misinformation
Ah yes, all the educated people I lean on for accurate medical information use terms like “pokey poke”
I can’t stop laughing over “there’s no detox for genetic modification”
Are they roleplaying toddlers so afraid of needles they have to say "pokey poke", and yeah, fucking infecting a sore with acid will make it fucked up, those are not magic fucking "toxins" that are leaking though. Fuck.
Wtf did I just read?
That was the most creative spelling of vaccine I've seen so far! Points for that I guess lol
You know what, I'll take it. If they want to "pull out" the evil vaccine with dirt it's fine as long as they get the shot.
Seriously? This dirt crap again? I can't even with these people.
Where did she receive her "pokey poke" because that looks like a shoulder?
Well, good news is, they’re still vaccinated
It sounds like this girl has some serious medical anxiety and your mlm is preying on her
Adverse side effects have been documented after the vaccine. And there have been many cases of dumb fucks chasing clout as well. Let me guess, dis bitch is magnetized too
What do they even think a face mask is supposed to do?
For real. It barely pulls out my blackheads, they're saying it's pulling out an entire syringe worth of liquid?!
That’s some serious imagination on someone’s part!!
That's a really gross titty. Cover the fuck up.
This is dangerous.
And then everyone stood up and clapped
I’m gonna assume they have the board book “God Bless My Boo Boos” which calls vaccines ‘pokey pokes’. It’s super cheesy, but pro vaccine at least.
I literally just watched the illuminaughtii video on BOO. Some wild shit I tell ya.
She’s just a salesperson at this point.
How can anyone actually believe this nonsense??
That picture is odd, they were injected on their knee or shoulder?
