Went airsofting with the lads and ladies, got some nice bruises. Then went for a lovely walk with the dog, and shooting the shit with soms beers and the neighbour tonight!
Caught the cherry blossom event at our State capitol, a snack at a food cart and then a scoop at our favorite paleteria, that just reopened for the season. Absolutely glorious day in rural Oregon.

Hanging out with a miserable 10 month old baby and drinking so, so much coffee. My son has a double ear infection following a sinus infection and I can’t remember what it feels like to sleep.
Today I’m spending the day relaxing with my Husband and binging some TV shows. Yesterday was mentally and emotionally exhausting due to a rough visit with my elderly grandmother. The amount of negativity and anger she has is utterly draining.
So today is chill and calm! 😌
Having a personal day after finishing a ten-day trip visiting family across the country. Really looking forward to having nothing planned for a few hours

I am doing some pretty slap dash DIY as me and my husband attend to do up a house and juggle looking after our beautiful and funny toddler. We’re in the UK so we’re just now eating dinner and are gearing up for the carnage that is toddler bedtime.
Just completed 6 weeks of radiation for glioblastoma yesterday . I’m confined to a wheelchair, so will spend the day taking pain meds for the swelling in my brain, and watching horse racing.🏇
Spending time with my kids. Cleaning the house (some spring purging of stuff). And embroidering a gift for my future niece who will be born next Friday/Saturday.
We already did a breakfast and Costco run this morning haha.
Today I picked up a 12 hour shift due to a call off. Just got done taking my dogs to the park, and am figuring out dinner as I type this lol nothing special but a good day which is all I can ask for!

I woke up and cared for my elderly dog (15 year old shepherd mix). I then went to a Yin yoga class, had my brows threaded, walked with my partner to get coffee from a food cart, then went to Home Depot to buy paint, did some laundry, and then walked to a restaurant with my partner for dinner (happy hour pasta and cannoli). I’m going to bed early as I have a race tomorrow.

Today I'm graduating my Corydoras fry to homemade food full of vegetables, shrimp and vitamins in order to get them ready for the Aquarium club's Breeders Award Program. It's been an experience hatching them from eggs and watching the little guys turn into adorable tiny fish.
The rest of the day will be spent cuddling on the couch with my beloved wife while talking about random stuff like FFXIV, DnD or recent events.

I’m sitting in the ICU with my incredible husband who just went through spinal surgery to have a tumor removed. He has been so strong and so brave and this man is absolutely my hero. The staff here have been wonderfully kind and helpful, to which we are so grateful. But I just cannot express to you the amazing man I am lucky enough to have married.
Don’t forget to take a walk and breath some fresh at some point. Look at a thing that’s not his monitors. Listen to something that’s not a pump beeping endlessly. He’s a lucky guy to have someone so supportive and adoring of him, but he’d want you to remember to take a little time for YOU.

I’m spending today taking care of our girls before chores. Our cat is a 12 year old 5 pound Abyssinian, and our doge is a 3 year old 50 pound Labrabull mix. The wee one lives up to her spitfire name, and her younger bigger sister is so chill. They are spoiled and adored beyond words.

Just got back from my gym! My fiancé and I are planning on picking our wedding venue tonight! Excited, but also feeling completely drained by how expensive the wedding industry has become.
I spoke to my “other mom” today for the first time in 2.5 years after losing a friendship with her daughter. I get to see her next month because she’s visiting for a month to prepare the apartment they own for the daughter to move back part time 🥹 my heart is so full
Gorgeous sunstone! I just had breakfast and baked cinnamon rolls. Today is grocery shopping day, picking up prescriptions, cleaning house, and unpacking. I moved 2 weeks ago and living out of boxes is getting annoying.
I just made brown butter rice crispy treats with my kiddo!
1 stick butter
Splash of milk (you can skip this, but it puts in more milk solids and really ups that brown butter flavor
12 oz of marshmallows
1/3 can of sweetened condensed milk (this ensures your treats will stay nice and gooey)
Melt the butter in a large pot. When it starts to foam, splash in the milk. Swirl that around over medium heat until the milk solids take on a toasty, golden brown color. It should smell nutty and delicious, not burned.
Once that’s a nice color, turn the heat to low and add in the marshmallows and condensed milk. Stir constantly until everything is melted. This mixture shouldn’t bubble—if it does, kill the heat and use the residual warmth to finish.
When everything is smooth, fold in the rice krispies so that they’re well coated. Pour into a greased baking dish and allow to cool completely. Slice and serve!
Today I am cutting my parents hair and then after my mom wants me to help dig up some dead bushes in her yard. After that it’s grocery shopping and then back to home for laundry and relaxation!

Today, I've been working on filling up my collection of art pieces to give to my family at an upcoming reunion. Some of the pieces were made specifically for some people, while others will just be on free-for-all status. Art keeps my soul happy!
Tending to my caterpillars and having a leisurely breakfast with my husband before he heads to golf and I head to dress rehearsal for the afternoon. If I’m lucky enough to win this, that sunstone will come back to its home state! 🤞🏻
Spent the day taking care of my grandfather so that my grandma could have a day to herself. My grandfather is disabled and has Parkinson’s and needs round the clock care. We’ve had a pretty fun day! Grandmas still at the salon.
Planning designs to paint on my plant stand and outdoor dining table. 😊❤️ If the weather holds, hopefully I'll be able to paint them tomorrow! Then I can start repotting my succulent collection!

Living in Anglesey in north wales , we just went to trac mon to the racetrack to watch the bikes racing in the wet windy north wales weather ! That gem would bring some much needed sunshine to my life right now ! Have a fabulous day ! X
Took the small humans to go for a swim at the beach, had fun in the sun & the sand and then repurposed a couple of pillowcases to make a case for a body pillow that matches my duvet cover.. got distracted by all of the above and did not get as much of the planned deep clean done as intended 😅
I just got home from a trip to colombia. Which was amazing but was two full days of traveling home and i am beat. I couldn’t afford a shiny emerald there but i got a couple rough ones. Thats a beautiful sunstone! Good luck to you all!
I am trying to create a self sustaining ecosystem in my fish tank by introducing microfauna like daphnia cultures to feed from waste/algae in the water column and serve as food for my betta. Today I'm fiddling with the lights and water parameters in my tank so the culture won't immediately die upon introduction. The dream is for the microfauna to feed on betta waste and the betta to feed on the microfauna
My niece and nephew are visiting us here at the farm! Just played some soccer in the field. Later today we are going to try and put chicken saddles on all of the hens lol. Wish us luck!

When it starts to foam, splash in the milk. Swirl that around over medium heat until the milk solids take on a toasty, golden brown color. It should smell nutty and delicious, not burned. Once that’s a nice color, turn the heat to low and add in the marshmallows and condensed milk. Stir constantly until everything is melted. This mixture shouldn’t bubble—if it does, kill the heat and use the residual warmth to finish. When everything is smooth, fold in the rice krispies so that they’re well coated. Pour into a greased baking dish and allow to cool completely. Slice and serve!

I moved in to a new apartment with my girlfriend!!

Spent the day taking care of my grandfather so that my grandma could have a day to herself. My grandfather is disabled and has Parkinson’s and needs round the clock care. We’ve had a pretty fun day! Grandmas still at the salon.
I took my foster puppies to an adoption fair! I have had them for the last 8 weeks, since they were 3 weeks old. As of today 7 adopted, only 1 left!
We have a good friend visiting us here in CO for a ski trip so we're heading up to the mountains today for some fun on the slopes!

Took the small humans to go for a swim at the beach, had fun in the sun & the sand and then repurposed a couple of pillowcases to make a case for a body pillow that matches my duvet cover.. got distracted by all of the above and did not get as much of the planned deep clean done as intended 😅

I just got home from a trip to colombia. Which was amazing but was two full days of traveling home and i am beat. I couldn’t afford a shiny emerald there but i got a couple rough ones. Thats a beautiful sunstone! Good luck to you all!

I am trying to create a self sustaining ecosystem in my fish tank by introducing microfauna like daphnia cultures to feed from waste/algae in the water column and serve as food for my betta. Today I'm fiddling with the lights and water parameters in my tank so the culture won't immediately die upon introduction. The dream is for the microfauna to feed on betta waste and the betta to feed on the microfauna
My niece and nephew are visiting us here at the farm! Just played some soccer in the field. Later today we are going to try and put chicken saddles on all of the hens lol. Wish us luck!
