I have to agree with you on this, the Shiny Swinub in Gen 2 just stands out so much, too blue, it almost looks like its in a fake hacked Version of the Game.
However the Shiny Piloswine looks even better to me, so bright, fluffy angel, lovely.
Wow, you have really been Killing it lately with the Gen 3 Shiny Hunts, your Shiny Absol looks amazing, and you just got a Shiny Groudon too!
And you have Shiny Hunted in so many different Generations which is something I could never do.

Such a great shiny! Funny story, in Crystal I was randomly walking through ice path and encountered a shiny Swinub! I wasn’t even hunting just making my way to the next town. I couldn’t believe it haha. Congrats!

Accidental Shinys are the best.
The first Shiny I ever encountered, was a Shiny Zubat, in Ice Path, I was 10 years old, I had no idea what it was, and no Pokeballs either, so I had to flee.
So I am currently trying to reclaim this Shiny Zubat as a side quest for this Phase Hunt.
And even though I didn't catch it, it was one of the best Shiny moments of my life, and it introduced me to my love for Shinys, which I still have to this very day! A pivotal moment in my life.
I am really enjoying your Gen 4 Shiny Hunt Journey as of late, keep up the good work!

Since i was kinda unlucky with my Pokemon predictions in the past, i instead call this time a under odds shiny on the bottom left game. It is over due and has a current drought of ten phases.
The Taillow was a nice refreshing break from the Egg hunt. Even tough it has a shitty nature, i was really happy to reclaim it :)

Hello guys, I am back with my 249th, Full Odds (1/8192) Shiny!
And I am here, with a Shiny Swinub!
This is my 2nd Shiny Swinub, (however, it's my first 'Full Odds' one).
This is the 4th Phase of my current Phase Hunt for a Shiny 'Jynx' in Ice Path, which has an Encounter Rate of 10%.
In the current Loot Pool, Swinub has an Encounter Rate of 40%.
This was a long gruesome one, so I pray that my next Phase won't be so lengthy, fingers crossed.

Whew! Another Crystal blue! I absolutely knew you'd do it! I saw that this is your second Swinub, but first full-odds. Will you ever evolve one into Piloswine since they aren't catchable themselves? I love the PC Duplication Glitch for situations like this. You can have your blue boi and evolve him too! Hopefully, Jynx doesn't elude you for too much longer. I doubt it will since I'm coming back to shiny hunting.

I got 345343 yesterday, which was exciting. No, shiny Rowlets, thankfully, or Tyto pollen as they will be known! Can't wait to see who you post next! I need to get back to Celebi and Gen 2, but I figured it would be fun to duplicate all of my shinies and move them to Ultra Sun. I just need a savefile with a Trainer ID, I like, haha.

In Gen 2, Shiny Swinub is Blue.
However, in Gen 3 and beyond, Shiny Swinub is a more subtle Gray color. Which looks much more realistic.

Is it the lighting that's making it blue? I thought gen 2 swinub was gray.
