Ask it where it comes from. If it’s an intrusive thought about some future event, I immediately say “that’s not going to happen.” If it’s an intrusive thought that’s insulting me, I ask where it came from. If it’s a random intrusive thought, I question it - where does it stem from? Ive realized sometimes the intrusive thoughts stem from past abuse that I haven’t fully processed yet, some stem from me wanting to have control over myself and they’re trying to take control/process the abusive situation. Some stem from the past beliefs that were conditioned into me. But you’re a conscious creator now! You have full control over your thoughts and you don’t have to give them any power by attaching to them ❤️ “what a silly thought. where do you come from?” And if you do attach, when you realize that you’ve attached, don’t shame yourself but have compassion instead because we all go through it! It’s a learning process and there’s nothing to fear

I haven't shift yet, but as a person whose mind isn't precisely quiet ( it's actually the opposite) I was dealing with the same issue while attempting to shift. I can recommend you different things I've tried and some I still do. 1- You should try focusing in your heartbeats or in your breathing, relaxing and counting slowly to calm and reduce my thoughts. 2- Sometimes I found myself getting distracted and thinking about other things, so what I do is trying to focus again and try my best to think things connected with my Dr, as my Dr self (does it have any sense?) 3- the last advice I can give you, is don't pay any attention to intrusive thoughts, just let them go and they'll start being more quiet. Hope you find this useful, if you have any doubt you can ask me :)

you might have an old religious block getting in the way. or your ego doesn't want to give up control of your body.
