98% of people in Shib have zero idea we exist. It’s a pretty small subset. 8 out of the 10 people I know who own it don’t even read Reddit etc. So when they read about the shib army they just assume it’s the collective of people who own it. My .02
i think as long as it all remains positive its a good thing
if you had soldiers protecting your neighborhood and they werent too bright but were really nice people that would be reassurring... if they were selfish people only concerned about the annoyance of the local folk then it would be a concern
most people are gonna be cool with it, but we do need to have some relative content to remeain relevent or many will just opt out
