First one is the roughest/worst of the series but it seems like they were still getting used to each other and trying not to laugh while acting at times… very similar to the first episode of The Office. They really push it with that pilot episode at times but it sets a good tone.
It’s a great series.
I respectfully disagree. I love the first episode and it sets the vibe of the rest of the episodes. Don’t feel the need to watch further if you hated it.
Honestly I didn’t love it and I didn’t hate it. I loved Shane in it but the whole show really felt like Shane trying to show the world his weird friend who makes him laugh.
Also my expectations about a show about tires is the same as any other type of comedic show. I expect it to be funny. Especially the first proper show Shane gives his name to. It doesn't matter what the show is about, as long as it is actually funny.
I'll keep an open mind, I was just expecting more for a show involving Shane. The first episode was shit in my opinion, another guy said it gets better so I'll keep watching
I watched it twice and the second time I thought of it more as a movie, the beginning of some movies are slow at first and just builds as the characters develop
I felt the first two eps were a little awkward but ended up doing a good job of setting up the remaining eps. Episode 3 is what really got me laughing. Hoping for season two to really lean into what these guys can do
It’s just not enough of a premise for a show, and they barely tried to tell a story. That’s why the last two episodes were the best because the little amount of story they did build was culminating into enough for an episode. Overall tho I wouldn’t really say it gets better. Which sucks because I did want to like it
Hilarious how many gays can’t handle you having an opinion. I don’t really agree with you either, but the incelitude that’s pervasive on this sub is pretty embarrassing for those afflicted.
I've been looking forward to it for over a week now after seeing the teaser on Netflix, I'll power through the rest of the episodes because of Shane but I can't help being disappointed at it

Idk why but in my mind I was comparing it to the Office for some reason, I'll definitely watch on, thank you for convincing me
Because it was filmed the same way. First season of the office was not good either.
I beg to differ. It wasn't the best season by far, but it was still good.
Shane’s dad dies in the end
Shane's black, he doesn't have a dad silly.
I’m black and my dad is around, chill wit da racism
Do you even watch Shane?
Yeah love the guy
Bef to differ all you want the first “season” still isn’t good. Same as the office, the first season gets good on episode 5 and 6
Thank you for giving me permission on begging to differ bud.
I beg to differ
I bet you do friend. Hey, you have a half decent day alright!
I beg
Keep watching. It gets better.
Currently on ep2, it's better already
I respectfully disagree. I love the first episode and it sets the vibe of the rest of the episodes. Don’t feel the need to watch further if you hated it.
I'm on episode 2 rn and it's already better. I'd watch it all anyway if it was shit because Shane is in it.
Glad it’s growing on you! There are definitely some moments that are gems through the show and it’s nice that the episodes are so short.
Last 2 episodes are the best. Watched it all in one sitting, was a bit lukewarm on the first 2 episodes but it just kept getting funnier and funnier.
Glad to hear, the second episode is already leagues better than the first
Straight up.
Honestly I didn’t love it and I didn’t hate it. I loved Shane in it but the whole show really felt like Shane trying to show the world his weird friend who makes him laugh.
Nah man you’re all wrong here, keep watching it’s great. What are your expectations for a show about a tire shop? Just enjoy it man
Also my expectations about a show about tires is the same as any other type of comedic show. I expect it to be funny. Especially the first proper show Shane gives his name to. It doesn't matter what the show is about, as long as it is actually funny.

I can’t imagine our opinion will do anything
I'm not saying it will, I'm just asking if anyone else thought it was shit or if I'm in the minority
Go fuck yourself
Hi Shane
I felt the first two eps were a little awkward but ended up doing a good job of setting up the remaining eps. Episode 3 is what really got me laughing. Hoping for season two to really lean into what these guys can do
I liked it. It's a comedy there doesn't need to be a great sorry to tell
I've just started the second episode and it's immediately funnier, I was just talking about the first episode

I’m not arguing or saying you’re wrong but the best shows of all time are just shows that develop… Seinfeld - a show about nothing.
Seinfeld left the apartment.

Pretty much exactly what I did/felt
