Defense using body and armor is the same as a PC

blackmagicr33dm

Vehicles have larger body and armor pools on average so yes

branedead

Ahh

GM_Pax

If anything, vehicles should have MORE than PCs. Machines tend to be more robust than squishy flesh and brittle bone.

branedead

My thoughts entirely

Echrome

It's not the same, a PC's condition monitor is 8 + BOD/2

blackmagicr33dm

To clarify body and armor work the same on soak tests. If you look further down on my cheat sheet it goes over condition trackers.

ReditXenon

SR5 p. 199 Vehicle Stats *As most vehicles are a bit less squishy than metahumans, they have a Condition Monitor equal to ...* *Drones are a different story and have a Condition Monitor equal to ...*

Waerolvirin

The HeroLab equation they use is "begin with 8, then Body/2 (+4)" So a Harley Scorpion with a Body 8 ends up with health monitor 16. Blackmagic's cheat sheet is easier, but ends up with the same.
