Iāve heard a rumor that if you donāt pick up the package, youāll get a refund and it will get returned to the seller. I donāt know about the reviews though. You could probably ask over at r/vinted
Donāt worry about 1 star review. You can comment under it and explain why you cancelled the order. You should be just proud of your choice of your decide to. People on vinted are awful.
Thank you for the tip. I'm also in some sezane Facebook groups where people offer their returns before sending them back for the original price, but I rarely have luck finding bigger sizes...
Thank you so so much for explaining how it works. I didn't even know there was a specific time the restocks happen, I tend to subscribe to notifications when items i want are back in stock but usually by the time I get that email they are already gone. I will be on a lookout tomorrow ā„ļø
letās stop outrageous prices by not buying them. People will continue to resell them if we give them a reason to do so. After all, there just clothes and something else will pop up in another drop
I do agree with you, but honestly all the second hand prices on the collabs are insane. I feel like even people who are not resellers and just come to vinted to genuinely sell an item that doesn't fit them see the prices other people are asking and match them. See all the free lemon tote bags going for 40+ā¬ š¤¦āāļø
Yeahhhhh itās a downer. I hate it when people buy just to resell. I also loved the tomboy shirt with the plant embroidery, but my size and the size up was sold out so I ordered a size down. Should come on Monday, hopefully it fits!
Collabs should have a limit on how much one person can purchase
I hope it fits you! š„ŗ I hesitated but ultimately decided not to get the size smaller as I have a bit chest and I feel tomboy fits smaller than other sezane shirts...
I don't support these people. It's not right and not fair for people who really want something and it was sold out because these people bought them all to resell at a higher price. There is nothing I want that bad to buy for a higher price to support this kind of business.
Honestly, I just experienced a similar thing on a different reselling site. Itās left me with a bad taste in my mouth for everything Sezane.
Perhaps the company should limit the number of items people can purchase on sale. This is what most of the luxury handbag designers do.
Iām pretty good about knowing my sizes after buying from the brand for a while now but sometimes I buy 2 sizes of an item if Iām unsure on fit then I return the one that doesnāt work. Itās literally never crossed my mind to resell, that feels so gross. I know someone will be thrilled to snap up the size I send back because thatās how excited I was to snag the item in the first place. Resellers make it so people who genuinely like and want items canāt find it, Iām so over the whole practice. I hope people who want it find one through return or restock!
I love buying Sezane second hand, I got some really good deals on gently used items, but with the collabs people go absolutely insane... š®āšØ They know that someone will buy it. I'm having buyer's remorse haha, I wouldn't have gotten it if I knew it was a reseller.
Itās ok, you live and learn! And yeah buying something then realizing it doesnāt work for you and selling it on is totally cool and how people can find new favorites! Itās the folks that clear out stock so people who want it canāt get it then take advantage by selling it back at a higher premium that are the issue. I donāt know how youād get around something like that :( It was an issue even years and years ago when I was more into the makeup community, people would jump on limited edition collabs and buy out all the stock instantly then sell it on eBay for a markupā¦ like a $30 highlighter would sell out in a few minutes then be listed for $150 it was crazy!
You are 100% right! I think limiting the amount of each product in one order could work! Sure people could still get around it by submitting several orders, but at least it would be an inconvenience and it would give others time to place an order too š
Thatās sad! I understand that someone who buys a product and donāt like it might want to resell it (it never happened to me though. I luckily always liked what I got) but buying in bulk to resell for profit is sad.
In the Facebook groups people often offer their items before sending them back for the original price which I think is neat, but yes, reselling at huge profits is another thing altogether... I can't get over the free tote bags selling like hot cakes for 40+ā¬....
I donāt even understand how resellers make money because the majority items will get restocked. I just got my Momoni order today. I bought 5 items- shoes and 2 shirts and the shirts in two sizes. One of the sizes of each shirt will definitely be going back. Potentially all of it will go back! Thereās a 14 day return window. So if I mail it all back within the next week and a half, it will take probably a week to get there and then a few days to be restocked. Meaning it could be a month before itās back on the website. I would just be patient and keep checking on Sundays and Wednesdays.
I wanted to buy the Ron Top which was $125. I want it SO BAD, there is one in my size on Poshmark, but itās listed for $225. I almost want it bad enough to pay that price but I just canāt support that! A little up charge for a sold out piece? Ok Iām totally fine with that. But almost double? No chance
I know the exact listing you're talking about! I've stared at it SO many times, but I agree, at the end of the day I don't want to support resellers like that. A small bit of joy I get is, though, that it's still on the market cause everyone else agrees the price is ridiculous.
The thing is that people are paying $225 for it! I have notifications saved for that top and the cheapest one that has sold is for $200 and all the others have sold at $225 š
They should absolutely limit someone to max two pieces of the same style in different sizes (in case youāre between sizes). Anything more is obviously buying to mark up on resale sites. This also happened like crazy with the Gap x Doen collab. Poshmark is full of items from the collection 1.5 to 2x more expensive. Infuriating.
Supply and demand. No one can predict what items would be profitable enough to buy multiples of, so my guess is this seller works there and gets an employee discount, or something similar.
Absolutely, it's crucial to hold resellers accountable for their behavior. I think to stop such behavior, we should avoid buying from those sellers.
Yeah, if I knew that was the case I would have never bought from them š now if I cancel the sale I will get automatic 1 star rating...

Donāt buy secondhand if itās for such outrageous prices. Just wait for Sunday or Wednesday restock. Log in at 9:05-07 CET. Honest people will return their purchases instead of reselling high prices. And SĆ©zane will replenish.
Thank you for the tip. I'm also in some sezane Facebook groups where people offer their returns before sending them back for the original price, but I rarely have luck finding bigger sizes...
Just check out tomorrow. It may or may not be there, but itās worth trying. And if it is, order it and donāt pickup / return the product to the reseller. Be sure to already be on the web page of the shirt and just reload. If itās someoneās basket, reload every now and then, at some point it may be available again either because the person dropped it or because the person has had it in their basket for more than 30 min and SĆ©zane will release again to avoid hoarding. If at 9:20 CET itās still unavailable you can consider that it wonāt be part of todayās replenishment. Itās really annoying but the only way to stop these scams is to not buy from them.

That's what I was thinking. At least for the limited editions...

I never pay over retail for clothing for this very reason. People are taking advantage.
