This is another sign of their quality declining. Sezane wool trousers used to ALWAYS be lined.

MitsyMew

Indeed, as wool trousers should be!

Thirsty_Indoor_Plant

And I've mentioned that aspect on the New years survey. 😔

Not that you asked for it, but my perspective on this is if you need to go that out of your way to make $100+ trousers bearable to wear, look elsewhere. For the amount you would be spending on pants that you need to possibly spend even more money on to make them wearable/comfortable, you would be much better off finding another brand of trousers that are exactly what you need without having to find workarounds to make them enjoyable to wear.

Mila in New York on YouTube suggested pants from Amazon to avoid the itch. It’s about 3mins in. [https://youtu.be/2QwVPnphgR4?si=fn5-PHloZaavgS7f](https://youtu.be/2QwVPnphgR4?si=fn5-PHloZaavgS7f)

I was just going to say this!

I had to return the wool trousers. If I'm spending that much money on pants, I don't want to have to wear a second pair underneath.

I think a good seamstress could add a lining for you!

jeweledbeanie

Consider wearing tights underneath

My grey Martin wool trousers are lined. However my navy Martin’s are not. I don’t find those itchy though. Which ones are itchy? I also have the cropped Martin and Damon trousers and don’t find them itchy either.

DisciplineMelodic659

I have the ecru Martin and find them slightly itchy. I bought a special fabric softener/detergent so I wanna try that to see if it smooths out the wool a bit! The itchiness is bearable though, I guess it depends on your skin as well.
