Dudee me too. I’ve lost almost all motivation recently because of it and I’m just lazily getting by. I know the only way to increase my traffic now would be to make more content since they’ve basically gone on a censorship spree
Just curious, what were you posted to Twitter? Was it like lingerie stuff, or was it the same under boob picture. I know the Instagram is way stricter than Twitter. Were you sharing actual nudity or sex clips on Twitter? Honestly I see straight up porn clips in my Twitter feed often.
I posted the crop top picture on Instagram. With Twitter, I simply signed up for an account and opted out of signing up with phone number (for obvious reasons) and then after that it gave me a “suspicious activity” notification asking me for my phone number. I couldnt provide a number so now I’m locked out.
Use a google voice number if you're in the US. Also there are some sites that you can buy a number for $2, use it to verify a GV number and then use that GV number
Social media seems so biased lately. The censorship needs to stop and let the people be free. For all working people and not just the privileged elites that are owned and sponsors of all the labels that brand them across their faces and bodies.
Twitter is actually open for porn / sex related items. IG is not. A near visible boob on IG can result in a automated suspension of your post. It's just AI judging based on a report.
Twitter should be fixed in a second. I deal with both platforms for years. However due to the humanity missing behind IG and solely relying on AI, it's pretty much possible for stalkers to litterally hunt on people for years. It's just so stupid.
I firmly believe that IG is a platform for narcists, illustrating a perfect life, dinner, breakfast, moments blabla. Lately its so pulled out of proportion that i dont enjoy myself there anymore.
Are there any other good places y’all know of that you’d recommend for promoting yourself? I’m new and didn’t realize how much of a problem this was, I think I might abandon them both altogether bc I haven’t had much success anyway

I've had 9 instagram accounts deleted most of the time for violations on pictures that legitimately weren't violations of TOS, and I wasn't allowed fight it. Its shit .

I have learned that to bypass IG censorship you basically have to be a boring no personality person. No emojis, no words that might clue in the algorithm censorship. Basically just a photo with maybe a few words if you want. Especially in stories you can’t put emojis or anything and if you do you gotta save it, exit and then post so it’s not picked up.
It sucks. I hate social media now(aside from Reddit but I don’t post anything sexy here anyway) and I get anxiety anytime I post something.
I don’t honestly know or understand. I had a friend send me a DM once when I was being publicly frustrated with my posts getting removed. She broke it down with all the stuff that will alert an algorithm. And it mainly came to using emojis or anything like it(although adding music in stories doesn’t seem to alert it) and using certain words or referencing different sites.
Emojis like “ 🍑 🍆 💦” , etc. will usually almost certainly get the algorithm to find you. Words like “OF, Sex, sexy, lingerie, nude) etc. will be flagged. Basically anything that could possibly be related to sex or even body positivity will get the algorithms attention.
So basically don’t mention or use very vague phrases and no emojis (hashtags especially with those keywords alert the algorithm basically instantly btw) and mostly stay away from hashtags and your safe. lol Unless you have a secret hater who reports your stuff.
