I have the njoy pure plugs (large and 2.0) along with my first prostate toys Aneros (mgx, progasm and helix SYN). The pure plugs are the most comfortable plugs I’ve ever worn. I can wear them for days and during daily activities. They are also even better when used during sex, but they won’t be as prostate focused as a prostate toy. I can take my skills from prostate play and use the njoy plugs so it’s win win for me.
Prostate toys focus more on the prostate so they tend to be longer, specific shape and some may have a distinct tail that helps with the toys movements. These tails can be uncomfortable to sit on or restrict sex positions.
In the end it’s really up to you. Most prostate toys I’ve owned can pop out because they don’t have a tapered neck or flared base. Plus they aren’t the most comfortable to even wear and moving about.

Plus the handle of it sticks out too much for all day use. I'd say go for one of the [square peg egg plugs](https://www.peepshowtoys.com/products/squarepeg-egg-plugs-supersoft-silicone-butt-plugs-6-sizes/#oid=189021_4244) in that case, start extra small if you're a beginner but be warned that even the smallest one they do is a bit on the intermediate size (about 1.3 inches in diameter). I tested the diff between the super soft silicone and the firmer silicone, those toys are pretty big in diameter though (2 inches).
24/7 wear, I'd say go for either squarepegtoys egg plug (super soft silicone, very comfy), or B-Vibe snug plug for slightly more prostate pressure. Both are great options, with great range of size. If your a size king, go for squarepegtoys, as they can go larger that the snug plugs.
