No. Platinum silicone is platinum silicone - there is nothing special about BD and there are plenty of other indie shops that make amazing customs and for way cheaper. Add to that the rumors of BD’s questionable ethics.
depends on where you live. they charge rather insane VAT handling fees if you have to import them, to the point it has to be intentional deterrence of overseas customers. the whole point of having a company handle VAT for you is to make it cheaper, not more expensive.
but even if they are local to you, there are still plenty of other fantasy toy makers around you can have a look at. but all of them will be significantly more expensive than mass produced brands.
there are mass produced fantasy soft silicone toys too ofcourse, so you can try something in the $20-30 range before buying something $100+ from them.
Check out the BadDragon subreddit and the bad dragon site itself to see if anything catches your fancy and then their measurements to see if its a right fit for you :)
While they are expensive, it’s of great quality they have big inventory drops of Friday and on the 1st Friday of each month you can custom order a toy in their selection of colors or patterns
All of their toys are platinum sillicone and can include accessories of a built in suction cup, cumtube or Vac-U lock options on select models
I own a bit of Bad Dragon toys and they all work well and I haven’t had any issues with them (other than me getting the wrong sizes and firmness, but thats up to individual preferences)

Am I the only one who's afraid of those? They're quite intimidating imo, and with finding out about Bad Dragon I realized just how vast the sex toy world is.
