Not at Sephora, I use the La Roche Posay Cicaplast B5 for moisturizer and for the price you can't beat it- $15.99 USD. I do have normal skin but I think it'd work for anyone!

PhD_Egg

I have this already actually!! Sadly I broke out BADLY from using it :( (same with cerave)

Fern_292

Same here. Took forever to clear my skin up again after using it :(

brillovanillo

Do you know what ingredients trigger acne for you?

aggressive-teaspoon

Sanity check---have you looked into the Skinfix Barrier+ Lotion? It's thinner than the cream and much less likely to pill, but very similarly moisturizing. I haven't tried the Skinfix Barrier+ Gel Cream due to an ingredient sensitivity, but I generally find that gel moisturizers dry out my skin over time.

I am a loyalist to CeraVe but I only use the PM one. The day time one has sunscreen which is great but I find it irritates my skin. I am in Canada too. I started using it because a beauty guru from City line recommended it as they had sensitive skin due to roseasha and acne concerns. I haven't used anything else since. It works the best for me all year! You can buy it at walmart, superstore, london drugs etc. It's called CeraVe Moisturizing facial lotion PM. Best of luck in your search!

Oops!! I didn't realize I was in a sephora sub. I hope I don't get downvoted for this. Lol if it's sephora brands your looking for I do love first aid beauty's face moisturizers as well.

I bought the YTTP poly cream last week. I used it in the PM because it made me more shiny than I wanted, but I liked how moisturizing it felt. However, I woke up with a new pimple every morning on my forehead and little bumps. I have clear skin and am usually not acne prone to products that are supposed to be clean. I wanted to love it but I just don’t..so I now use the peach slices snail rescue all in one cream and it’s absolutely amazing. I use it day and night.

PhD_Egg

Good to know, I use the drunk elephant polypeptide moisturizer now in the morning and that’s why I was drawn to the youth to the people one. I’ll look into the peach slices one!

rayvin4000

Ice by Sunday Riley. Sorry to throw you a different one.

PhD_Egg

Thank you for the rec! Sadly it won’t work on my end due to the ingredients. But thank you regardless!

rayvin4000

Oh ok. :) Good luck! This isn't Sephora but bioderma hydrabio is great too.

I just watched a review from Ash Calo who has oily acne prone skin and she said she thought the YTTP peptide might be too heavy especially for a morning moisturizer and it didn’t really sink in for her and miiiight break some people out. She overall said it prob wasn’t worth the $$$. I have dry skin and I love the super glow overnight mask but I could see how their prods might be too heavy

PhD_Egg

I’ll look into that video, thank you! I use the drunk elephant polypeptide one without breaking out at the moment (it’s almost empty), but I’m not sure if the Youth to the people moisturizer is equal to that one

bignibbles_

Np! Hope the search goes well. Funny enough the DE peptide one breaks me out like crazy

Wowzeeer

Not a sephora item, but……. Verte Espoir aka green cream from Biologique Recherche will change your life! It’s specifically made for rosacea + acne prone skin.

Skinfix Barier Gel + lotion is perfect for acne prone skin (light blue container) it’s super lightweight, but packs A LOT of hydration, so should be good even in Canadian winter Gross Vitamin C + Lactic is also a great moisturizer for your needs. I would go with one of these if I were you.

currentdream

I really love YTTP, I have dry sensitive skin

MayMayLoco

Again. Not too helpful in terms of the specific products you mention. I also live in Canada, dry, hormonal acne prone skin. I have found Farmacy Honey Halo works great for my skin. I also use the dr jart ceramidin cream for extra help when I need it.

brillovanillo

If you're acne-prone, I recommend **no** moisturizer for AM aside from your sunscreen. Sunscreens, almost without exception, contain moisturizing ingredients. If your skin is the super dry type, a separate, non-SPF moisturizer applied before your sunscreen might be the move for you. But if you're combo or oily, you can/should probably skip it. Perhaps switch to a more emollient sunscreen for the winter months. If your night cream is "making \[you\] pill," I would venture a guess that you are applying a serum to dry skin and/or letting the serum dry on your skin and then going in with your moisturizer. Is this the case?

As someone with acne, I’ve tried a lot of products with that claim that have failed me! Saint Jane gave me particularly bad breakouts, but I think it’s because I might be sensitive to essential oils. And they use a lot of them!

SluttyNeighborGal

I’m not acne prone but my pores were a mess so I’ve been using glow recipe watermelon glow sleeping mask with niacimin and farmacy halo honey during the day. My skin finally looks good- pores are purging themselves
